I am not an authenticator but want to guess this is a fake. The number on the creed looks like a fake, and when you google it it only brings up international sites. Plus the creed doesn’t look right. But I will let an authenticator say for sure. Plus if you bought it from a reseller, having all of those extra documents is often a red flag.

Hi Authenticators,
Please kindly advise whether this bag is authentic
Thank you

Item: Coach x Pacman belt bag
Listing number:
Seller: Fuguh Pambagyo
Link: https://www.tokopedia.com/fuguhfp/c...riginal-tas-dada-tas-pinggang-tas-bahu-unisex
Comments: sold as a new bag

Get your money back. It's COUNTERFEIT.

We have been trying to warn everyone about a large group of counterfeits distributors and sellers located in Japan for many months now. Here is just one of the posts our most experienced Coach authenticator BeenBurned made, please read it for more details:
https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/japanese-coach-ring-warning.1012568/

Several items that were included with your purchase are NOT used by Coach, only by counterfeiters. There are also other problems that BeenBurned can explain. Demand a full refund from the seller and DO NOT buy any small accessories like wallets, cosmetic cases, waist pacs or anything else with Pac Man, NASA, Mickey mouse and other Disney characters, Peanuts, or any other characters liscensed by their owners to Coach unless you buy them directly from an actual Coach store.

And do NOT buy anything else from that website, I believe they are selling other fakes.

I agree with the others that it's fake and whether the Tokopedia seller, Fuguh Pambagyo., knows it or not (and I believe the seller knows exactly what he/she is peddling, the seller has fakes.

Shame, such a pretty color. J8h is always fake?
Lunchbox bag.

Yes, always, no exceptions. The most recent VALID *8H- serials only go as far as A8H-, the plant code was retired after that. Anything newer needs to be looked at but it's a 99.9 percent probability that it's fake.

And while there are some valid K4H- bags that were actually made in 1994, there have also been some fake K4H- "Made in China" creed fakes of styles from after 2000 that are always fake. The year code for 1994 is much too early for any China-made handbag

Thanks for confirming the style name and number, Hyacinth! It’s always good to know. I hope a collector got it.

And I think this is the universe’s way of keeping me on track and on budget. I was seriously considering getting both bags! Now I’m happily waiting for my hunter green station bag to arrive!!

Dear Authenticators,
Thank you for all the wonderful insight and information you provide! I deeply appreciate the time you take to help me and many others learn more about these beautiful bags.

This is not an urgent request at all, but when you have time, could you authenticate this bag?

I picked this up at a local GW, because it seemed like a fun and challenging rehab, but as I clean her up, the “pleats”(?) stitched into the bottom corners seem more and more out of place - like a goofy retrofit by a former owner. Did I buy a fake, or is it a “remuddled” bag?

Measurements are: 11.25 x 7.5 x 2.25 (approximately)

It's a genuine Convertible Clutch, style #9635. Those bottom corners are a distinctive detail of that style.

If it was ebay (or one of several other online sites), many listings are still viewable even if ended or sold. To view them, do your search and scroll down the left side of the page to "completed listings." If you have the item number, paste that into the search box. It won't be found in current but as long as it wasn't removed by ebay, that item will come up in completed:

Yes, it was ebay. I did not go looking for it in the sold items. That's a good idea. Thanks.
