Oh I didn’t realize it was eBay that removed the listing. Sorry for the misinformation.

Just curious though, why would eBay remove the listing after it sold? I hadn’t contacted eBay yet.
I'm assuming that it was removed because it was reported. Whether an active listing, an unsold completed listing or a sold listing, it's still fake.

Did you not get a message from ebay after the removal notifying you that it was removed?

They send bidders of active listing removals and buyers of completed listings a message when they take down a listing. Although they don't come out with a specific reason why the listing was removed, they tell you what to do.

I didn’t get a message at all. My account still shows that I have an unpaid item. But when I click on it, it shows that the item has been removed and there is a note that I should check my messages. There is no new email from eBay or the seller though. So I think I will just have to contact eBay to resolve this?

Thanks for the info! I didn’t realize there is such a sophisticated system behind eBay!

If it's genuine, the color is probably black. If it was Navy, the blue would be obvious.

We need to see a clear readable photo of the creed stamp and serial number, just seeing the number typed out doesn't tell us what we need to know. That requirement, and also information on where the item was purchased, are listed in Post number One of this thread and required for every authentication. That's why it says

at the top of every Authenticate page.

I am so sorry! I did read that; I had a few photos not upload but didn’t realize the creed was one of them. It should be there now.

Now I see it.

It's a genuine Swinger, style 4040 from the Lightweight line and made right around 1990. Here's a thumbnail from a late 1980s catalog, click on it to enlarge:

Hi again everyone! I have an odd request. I got this fake bag from a friend. They got it at the Raynham Flea here where I live. Anyway, I would like to know if anyone knows what bag this is based on before I trash it. I like the style and I am curious. Thanks! Sorry for the first pic. I wanted to remove the background. Sorry it's fake. (Raynham, MA?)

By "based on," do you want to know whether there's a genuine version of a similar bag?

I guess if it were to be copying something, it's may be style 8K40, soho signature satchel from 2005. I don't know whether Coach made a similar bag in the optic signature pattern.

Yup. Raynham, MA.

Of course, the example you posted looks better than the fake does. That's exactly what I was hoping you'd do. Thanks for helping! Off to find the real thing (and get it authenticated here!)!
