Please follow the following requests:

• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read

Hi all

Requesting information/authentication on two items in a resale shop

1. Some sort of backpack with navy blue striped lining. There is no tag except the one in the photos. Sorry I don’t have dimensions but it was large.. maybe someone can let me know something based on the pix I have. Thank you.


2. Weird wannabe companion bag? Pretty positive this is beyond fake but wanted to post here in case someone wanted to add this to their files... I couldn’t find a photo of a similar looking creed stamp ... or surprise (and school) me and tell me it’s legit...

Bag 1 - Not enough photos, and a large bag from any time older than 2014 or one that still says it was made in the US should have a full serial number on the creed. BUT I haven't looked closely at the many remakes Coach has resurrected in the last 10 years so maybe they brought back a long-dead lining, who knows? I really don't think that lining (which was only ever made in black-on-black) has ever been used in the last 20 years.The leather color looks odd too. Very probably fake but we'd also need clear readable photos of the stamping on the "male" part of the magnetic snap.If you are interested enough to go back we also need the inside zip pocket very thoroughly checked for the Made In fabric tag and the other white fabric tag with the production codes and style number.

Bag 2 - Take a CLOSE look at the creed, read it and tell me what you see. Put your 6th-Grade Spelling Bee hat on when reading it.
Then take a look at the Daria48 Fake Coach Numbers list posted on Page 3 of the Salearea Coach Guides pinned to the top of this forum. Look through the first set of numbers under "always fake" for 233-5678.

There were 2 sizes made in the Plaza bag. And they probably made them in green. It's genuine. The smaller version was 9860

The posting guidelines in Post number One say that a photo of the creed and serial number must be included, especially when a style has been faked as much as the Willis has. I'd also like to see a better-lit photo of the back of the turnlock, it almost looks like there are indentations for the prongs in the photo you posted.
