They all are authentic. The green is vintage, made in the US, and likely has much nicer leather than the other two. The purple color is rarer. Because these are newer bags, the leather isn't as nice and I don't think the dye goes all the way through. Conditioning will help some but I'm not sure how much. I think I'd feel better buying the one that is already in great condition.
Thank you Whateve - I appreciate the authentication and the additional information!!

Hi girls! I found 2 vintage penny bags. Can you help me authenticate? Not sure which is a better find!

Item: Vintage Coach 9755 Navy Blue Pocket Penny Bag
Listing number: n/a
Seller: The Lucy Space

Comments: (1) Should the creed number end in 9755? Why wouldn't this one? (2) This doesn't have an adjustable strap; does that pinpoint it's vintage? Curious how old it is.

They are both authentic. They are pocket bags, not penny. Penny was never part of the style name except in Coach's revisionist advertising. Both have the same style number - 9755. The first was made in the early 90s before style numbers were used. The second was made in 1995, as shown in the creed.

Thank you! Is the leather on the older vintage better than that of 1995? Looking for that supple leather!
