Thank you! It appears authentic. Small bags like this usually don't have a creed, and may not have the tag with with the serial number, depending on when they were made. The trim might be patent leather or it could be patent material, which isn't made of leather. It was made to be sold in Coach outlet stores. More opinions are welcome.

One thing that concerns me is how the leather trim is not even along the top of the bag. Also, according to some of the things I have read online one thing Coach is known for is its near perfect stitching and that you'll never see overlapping and on this bag there is overlapping and stitches that are not straight at all. Granted its not an expensive bag, for me its the principal.

Be careful of sources that claim these things. Overlapping is normal and seen on most bags. I think even premium designers overlap edging. Unfortunately stitching isn't always straight.

Ok. I have no idea if I'm doing this right but hopefully I am and someone is able to help me!! I recently purchased a Coach bag and after looking it over once I got it, I have a really bad feeling its fake  One of the reasons is because on the inside of the bag there is only one little transparent tag that says "Made in Vietnam". It also has no serial number at all anywhere inside the bag, not even a tag sewn in with a serial number. The leather on the bag looks like plastic. And just the overall feel of it just doesn't seem right. Thanks in advance for any info!

Welcome! Where did you purchase it? If it was online, we need a link to the listing and the seller's name.

I agree that the scarf print swingpack is authentic. It's style 49152.

Thank you. They sold that piece separately. I just didn’t purchase it. I guess I should have.
That's a personal pet peeve of mine.

There are times when a seller finds just one piece or the other at a thrift store and I don't have an issue with that. My complaint is when sellers (and apparently, this Goodwill store) separate the pieces that are intended to be sold together and split and sell separately.

Stop being misled about Coach "rules" found in online "authenticity guides" most of them are completely wrong including the details you mentioned. I've had plenty to say in the past about those useless so-called guides and I'll keep repeating it until everyone gets sick of hearing it but will at least remember it.

Start here, read all 6 Salearea Guides especially the one on Authenticity Guides. And forget what you heard or read from other places online.

And I agree, the Swingpack is genuine.

Lot of four vintage coach bags
Listing #71917984
https://www.shopgoodwill.com/Item/71917984

These all look like obvious fakes to my amateur eye. Bad serial numbers & grammar mistakes in the creed. LMK how I did!
Wow! I don't think Goodwill could have done worse if they tried!

Yup, all fake!

Since Goodwill Industries of South Central Wisconsin, Inc. "states that this item has been posted in accordance with shopgoodwill.com's policy prohibiting the sale of counterfeit items," feel free to refer them here if they truly care!

Send them a link to this post!

I came back to post the creed picture for these bags.

It proves that very few people actually read the creeds.

Please read Post number One and provide the information required including measurements, and if it''s a recent purchase, when and where you bought it including the URL if it's from an online seller. If you've owned it for a long time please mention that, but we still need measurements for all older bags that don't include style numbers in their files. Thanks!
