It's a genuine Station Bag from the early 1990s. The link to the extra creed pic you posted isn't working for me.

ETA - Thanks for the extra photo. Definitely genuine.

Thank you so much Hyacinth, I corrected the picture also.My boss is trilled that it is real as am I.Plus very relieved, I explained to her the purpose of me posting it here before she leaves feedback.Thank you again.

I just did a quick Google - Both Macy's and Nordstroms have stores in the Tacoma Mall and both should have Coach sections or at least a counter or two. Macy's probably has a bigger selection, but if you visit either one, take a swing past the handbag department just for the heck of it. Just try to NOT look at the price tags!

Or, if you're an "armchair shopper" like me, do it the easy way and check out their main website, or Coach's.
https://www.macys.com/shop/search?keyword=coach
or
https://www.coach.com/shop/women-handbags

Just remember what I said about not looking at the prices.
Hello Hyacinth,
Actually I have been to Macy's and I DID look at the price tag and was blown away. the purse I looked at was over $200!!! The lady asked me if I was interested and I said no thank you. Can't afford it. Yeah, I think I will stick to getting them at yard sales. Again, thank you for your help and one more question. Do you guys authenticate messenger bags?
My brother has a messenger bag called "Protocol" and he wants to know if it is authentic or not. He told me he can't it on the internet. Just wanting to know. If you can, I will send you pictures.
Again, thank you and can't wait to hear back!

Both are fine.

Please refer to post 1, page 1 of the thread for the required information which includes seller ID. (It's not necessary to repost; just include next time!)

The first one is a genuine Legacy Small Zip made in 2000, and the second is a genuine Ergo Mini Zip made in 1998.

She's been lucky so far too, a lot of inexperienced Coach shoppers end up with at least one fake. I hope her good luck holds! And I know what you mean about those heavy leather classics, that's why I cheat on Coach during really hot weather and carry a Kipling or LeSportsac.

Sorry, I've never heard of it, is that the brand name? If we don't know the brand, we can't authenticate it, but unless it's in the mid to high price range brand new I doubt if it would have been faked, especially if it's not on the internet. A search here at tPF for "protocol messenger" comes up empty.

She promised no more rash buy's on E-bay, besides I think she used up her luck on picking authentic coach purses for a while. She is 80 and doesen't like to wait on anything. We'll go thrift storing tomorrow, you guessed it, for all things Coach.
