Please follow the following requests:

• Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• Front of item

• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

It's fine. I'm not sure of the official name but it's a soho from 2003.

Thank you so much for your quick responses, BeenBurned! I ran back to the store and picked up the Bleecker hobo, but missed out on the Soho. Kinda kicking myself, but also feeling good that I was cautious and asked here before buying.

There's more wrong with that bag than just wrinkled leather, such as the turnlock tab, the turnlock leather 'base", and the very fake serial number stamp, AND the style number -9997 that belongs to a completely different bag..

Just to repeat what we've said so many times before - we DON'T recommend buying from Poshmark because of their inexcusable attitude towards fakes, their refusal to remove them or give refunds to buyers who bought them, and their reliance on some alleged "authenticator" who is/are totally incapable of telling a genuine Coach from a counterfeit.

A worse problem (also seen on other sites) is with sellers like
poshgeneration who have many listings and mix authentic and fakes.

I'm also seeing indents in the back of the turnlock plate.

ETA - the seller has had a lot of her bags asked about over the years. Most have been OK but she HAS listed a few fakes, and isn't as careful as she should be. Any experienced Coach seller should be able to spot a fake D plant serial stamping and do more investigating.
