Please help me determine if this is authentic. I believe it is but the creed has no number and there is no tag with a number inside. If you know the name of this bag too, please tell me. Thank you

It could be the smooth leather version of a Hamptons Swingpack #8E87 from 2005 and might have had a different style number, but I think the strap has been replaced. The strap in the picture wasn't made by Coach but the main part of the bag is genuine.

Here's what the suede version with the original strap looked like:

I don't see any problem with the bag, it's completely genuine. Why is she questioning it?

The style number is 9826.

Thanks so much. I've learned so much here and was confident of the authenticity of this bag so I hadn't posted it here before I listed it for sale. She said that "the tag and the length of the shoulder strap is weird". I have a no return policy so that could have played a role. Regardless I will tell her I will refund (less shipping) and I'm sure someone else will be happy to buy it before long. Thanks again!

I hate it when buyers pull that kind of BS out of their butts. "Weird" compared to WHAT, exactly? And the strap length was right in the listing.

But like you said, someone else will buy it. Just be sure to block that buyer.

Did you refer the buyer here so she can express her concerns and possibly be reassured that she got the real deal?

Both bags you're asking about are authentic.

With regard to seller #1, gmc_2012, the seller and another ID have been discussed in the past. These are 2 posts:

That seller gmc 2012 info is worth remembering - thank you.
Regarding the Black bag - any name, date or other info available?
I believe the black bag is a basic bag, also called zippered clutch. The style number is 9455. It's pre-1994 but I'm not sure of the year.

ETA: Don't quote me on the style name or number. I don't know the names of many of the older styles. Wait for others.

Regarding the Black bag - any name, date or other info available?

I'm not sure if the first one was even a Cashin design but it was definitely made at least 5 years (and probably more) after Cashin ended her partnership with Coach. It's NOT "Cashin era", the true Cashin Era ended before Coach started using serial numbers. It's a 9455 Basic Bag from the early to mid 1980s.

The second one, the black one, is a style 9655 Retro Small Zippered Pouch from 1994. Measurements are 9 x 5x 1.5 inches

Comments: This one is almost identical to a black willis already authenticated, but the front flap is about a 1/2 inch longer. If genuine, Is that common or maybe just stretching?
