I found a Basic Bag at Buffalo exchange for $20 a couple years ago, and there's another consignment place in Ballard that can be good, but most places, if they have anything, are more pricy than EBay. Plus you take a risk buying without authenticating!

ETA: I swear I quoted maramd and whateve.

I saw this at a thrift store tonight. Madison Biltmore made in Italy. It was in pretty good shape but was missing the strap. Can you buy replacement straps?

Not that I know of, unless you want to have one custom made, and that would be expensive. I doubt if even a custom maker would be able to match the original grain, but it's possible.

There's a one in a million chance you might find one on Ebay, but don't depend on Coach for replacement straps, especially for bags that are 20 years old. Or you could look for an identical bag in the same color with a strap in good condition.

Please help me authenticate this metallic bag, says made in Vietnam on an inside tag. Seller states only 2 months old. The creed doesn't show a number as seen in the attached pictures is this something new? Did they start production in Vietnam for the factory stores?. Not an auction item. :wondering

I bid on the white one early on but backed off because something did not seem right! Let us know if you get the Court bag and how you were able to clean it up! I am learning so much from all of you. . . thank you!!

I actually won the Court bag! I can't wait to receive it! I'll be posting about its clean-up progress in the Coach Rehab thread later on.

I am not sure where we went. Ballard I think. A lot of resale shops that smelled like old, dirty clothes.
