I can't help with a style name, sorry. The smaller bags like Swingpacks have never worked for me personally so there are very few photos or snatches of info about them in my files. But I agree with you that the details look accurate. One other mistake it does NOT have that's often found in older fake Swingpacks is the Coach name being woven into the fabric of the strap, which was usually thinner on the fakes (more like a woven nylon fabric than the thick woven cotton or whatever is usually used on the genuine ones). And you friend is very much mistaken about it not being genuine because it doesn't have a creed patch, but you already knew that.

Thank you for the reply Hyacinth.
Thanks also for agreeing that the details are accurate.
The strap is of sturdy material with a leather shoulder pad. There’s no coach word(s) interwoven in the strap and the hardware is brass.
Thank you.

Oh and it's described as a 11"w x 6"h "Barrel shape mini" in mahogany if that's relevant! Thank you!

IF it's genuine it's absolutely NOT from the 1980s, although I haven't seen it before. There are some similarities to bags from the Bridle line made around Autumn of 1999. A few of the early bags in the line didn't have stamped serial numbers either. What I'm concerned with is the description on the creed which doesn't really match the bag's leather OR the creeds used in the Bridle line. The creed wording actually the same as what was used for the Dakotas, Sheridans, and Madisons, all of which were made between 1991 and early 1997 and did have textured leather which this one doesn't. The body of the bag is NOT "finely textured cowhide" unless someone else can see any texture to that leather but it looks perfectly smooth to me. It also has the striped lining from the Sonoma line. The hangtag looks like what was used for the Sheridan styles but I've never seen any of those with smooth leather bodies, and they would never have had silver hardware, which wasn't even introduced until a year or more after all the lines using that creed statement had been discontinued.

It's a hodgepodge of at least 3 or 4 different styles and even slightly different time periods , which worries me. It's almost as if one of the craftspeople at the Italian plant took some leftover leather, lining material, hardware, and found a few creed and leather stamps and put together a bag from the bits and pieces. Did the seller give any measurements for the bag?

We need to know from where you're considering buying that bag, as we state clearly in Post Number One of this thread. Please post a link to the seller or selling site. For now I recommend against buying that bag until it can be solidly authenticated or definitely proved fake.

Yes, I didn't see any problems with the strap or hardware either.

That’s a great relief Hyacinth.
I am open or I welcome other opinions regarding this bag.
Since you stated that you didn’t see any problem with the bag, strap, and hardware, can I categorically say that this swingpack is genuine despite having no creed patch?

I decided to get back the bag and change it with another similar swingpack with a creed patch to eliminate any suspicion of a ‘fake bag’. It looks a bit older than the first one though.
Please authenticate this bag. It will serve as a “second opinion” if someone will say that it’s a fake one.
It states: No E05N-6016.
Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you Hyacinth.
I had the bag for quite some time. I strongly believe that it is a genuine bag:
-zipper is smooth
-materials are of good quality
-stitchings are neat, tidy
-excellent mirror-like/symmetrical logo placements
-neat seams
-good lining
-real leather trimmings
Please correct me if I’m wrong, I think it belongs to Coach legacy signature swingpack collection.
Then, I gifted it to a sweet lady friend. The problem was her co-worker rudely told her that the bag was fake simply because it has no creed or style number.
I read your “The Creed Stamp Rules” here in tPF. I just wanted to reassure my friend that the bag I gave her is genuine and so I posted it here. I also have 2 other bags that don’t have creed and style numbers but I will post the pictures later.
Thank you very much.

Both swingpacks are absolutely and without a doubt authentic. Both are signature swingpacks.

As it says in Hyacinth's guides, some have creeds and some do not have them. Some of those with creeds have serial numbers and others don't have them.

The existence or lack of a creed is NOT what makes a bag authentic. It's the details of the bag itself and those bags are both fine.

Thank you for confirming the authenticity of the bags.

It looks good!

Please be very cautious with C plant serials from around 1998-2000, we've seen a LOT of small variations specifically during this time period. When a plant was at or near the end of its life cycle, like the C plant in 1999 or the Costa Rica plant in 2004, Coach apparently decided to end any increased expenses to keep the plant's hardware such as creed and serial number stamps (and probably a lot of other things judging by my experiences with other companies with plants near permanent shutdown) up to date. Plants about to be closed sometimes had to get by with using bits and pieces from hardware from other recently closed plants. So far there may be as many as half a dozen small variations in serial stamps from bags that seem to be completely genuine, so always post here first before thinking they might be fake.
Thank you so much for this info. This shows me I can get too hung up on details. I think too the angle of the creed photo might have contributed my questions. Now I need to decide if I want a camel bag this big.

It's a genuine Signature Swing Pack made in 2006.

Here is the link, there is two other photos (I'm thinking maybe the side of the bag is the textured leather). Thanks for taking the time to reply. I replied to my post with the measurements they are 11w x 6h (mini, I think?)
