Please follow the following requests:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• Front of item

• Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
• Made in tags (when available)
• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

I'd say it happens pretty often. There isn't really any etiquette about it TBH. If you want the bag, bid on it!

If someone posts a bag on here for authentication it's fairly obvious that they want it; therefore, merely as a courtesy I tend to not bid on that item. That's just me though.

authentic Taylor zip from 1994. I'm concerned about the strap. It doesn't look the right length from the side of the bag to the buckle. Compare it to the stock photo.

This is probably okay. It's a Park Violet. In the future, it would be helpful if you include a little of the lining in the creed picture so we can see the color. If you can get the pocket zipper pull in the same picture, again that would be helpful.

It looks fine. Receipts don't prove anything as they can faked easier than a bag can. This was made for factory stores in 2011.

Hmmm..... That is a bit concerning.

It's very easy to miss but none of the others on ebay look like this either. They all look more like the stock photo. I wonder if the seller is lying about the strap drop.

I bought this at a thrift store today. I would like to know if it's authentic or not, as well as the name and year if it is. Thanks!

The length is 10.75, the height is 7 and the depth is 3.75. The strap drop is 21 inches at the longest setting.

That would be me, too but I thought I would check!

Me too-and if I know someone is looking for a particular bag that I'm interested in too and I run across it I might send them a PM letting them know I'm thinking about bidding on it-to see if they are too, it would bother me to get into a bidding war with someone on here though I'm sure it's happened unknowingly.

I know others do this, it's just a courtesy and certainly optional. We've got sellers on here too who probably don't mind too much if more than one of us goes after a bag!
