Completely and utterly bogus - non-existant color that was NEVER used by Coach at any time in the 1990s, massively off-center creed stamp, wrong font and spacing in the serial number, fake buckles, incorrect double row of stitches above the inside pocket.

authentic Taylor zip from 1994. I'm concerned about the strap. It doesn't look the right length from the side of the bag to the buckle. Compare it to the stock photo.

Hmmm..... That is a bit concerning.

I agree, the shorter end of the strap has been chopped at least 8 inches, maybe more. The seller is copying bits and pieces from another listing or listings so she probably copied the drop measurements from somewhere else. She can't seem to decide on the serial number prefix either.

I'd stay away from that one.

Check out the huge, non-matching stitches right above the squared D-ring attaching the strap to the bag. Looks like the entire short end of the strap was doubled up and sewn back together.

Comment this looks dodgy?

Definitely dodgy! The creed wording "variations in the grain" was only used after 1994, but by that time Coach had stopped using "Leatherware" in their creed logos. And that fake Stewardess ID pocket doesn't belong on ANY other style EXCEPT a Stewardess, which this definitely AIN'T. The shape of the male part of the turnlock is wrong, the top corners where the strap is mounted aren't right, there should NOT be a small single screw holding the turnlock together, the shape of the strap buckles is wrong, and there's a double border around the Coach logo above the creed.

No wonder the seller won;t show the serial number!

Thanks in advance!

I have that bag in periwinkle, which looks similar to a couple of the pictures, but I agree that one is fake. Another thing to notice is that there is no edge coating anywhere. In the 90s, Coach used matching coating on the edges.
