Please follow the following requests:

• Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• Front of item
• Back of item
• Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
• Made in tags (when available)
• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

I picked this up at a thrift store and wanted to see if it is authentic. It is approximately 11 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and 9 inches tall. It also has an adjustable shoulder strap. Thank you for all you do.

It's fake. PIL and P1L are among many fake (and always invalid) serial prefixes.

I just wanted to say that I've always loved the Parker bags, the leather is so soft and smushy and the rosegold hardware is so rich. Make sure that the big decorative turnlocks on the sides are intact, because they have been known to break and are impossible to replace.

Please read post one and give the authenticators all the info they request. They are not required to authenticate if all the info is not given.
They do this for no charge, on a volunteer basis. Given them 24 hours to respond to a request. They are most likely having dinner with their families at this time.
