ETA: Add creed picture

This is NOT an authentication.

I was only able to find one example of a bag with the 9075 as the style number. (Other listed as 9075 were actually 9076.)

And the only other 9075 was made 3 months after the bag in question and had a creed with different text and not showing as being limited edition.

I'm not sure whether this information will be helpful to @whateve and @Hyacinth or not.

We looked at something similar before, here are the notes I made at the time. I haven't checked those posts yet, just wanted to get the info C&P'd since my computer is getting bogged down and really needs a reboot:

"9074 and 9075 - name unknown, poster at tPF says "maybe 10 yrs ago Coach did a couple of "museum" bags inspired by Bonnie Cashin. There was maybe one or two styles. The bag is small, minimal hardware. The creed reads "This is a Coach bag, part of a limited edition. Originally designed for Coach by Bonnie Cashin in 1970. Manufactured in the US of natural top grain cowhide, its superior craftsmanship and attention to detail reflect our commitment to enduring quality." Serial # is J0B09075 and it is 175/800

also ; My other deal is that I own the 9075 and it has the "This is a Coach bag part of a limited edition .....made bonnie cashin 1970" verbiage, this one doesn't. Last, if the 8 is a real year, Coach has no record of this bag or the 9074 in their system, help! The serial number for the one I own is E1B-9074"

There were also references to an obvious FAKE "J8Y-9075", from LOVE2SHOPDOTBAGS, who has a long-standing habit of not authenticating what she sells. But that's another story. So we know that style was faked.

Still pondering. However there are several TINY differences in the serial of the creed between the tan one with the Limited number (which I think is genuine) and the black one BeenBurned posted, mostly in the shape of the "9" in the serial.

There are no pictures in the posts I mentioned above so they're not much help. There ARE old drilldown photos of both 9074 and 9075 but no details, I'm going to check my catalogs in a minute.

Thanks so much [emoji4] Searching this forum, I did find one similar that I think you posted. I screen shot it but then the phone rang and my little one closed my windows. I gotta find it again. Does this look familiar to you?

I wanted to thank you again for your time. I really do appreciate it. I found the post again with the similar creed in it. I screen shot the post number. Thank everyone so much for all your help[emoji4]

So interesting, and thank you! The shape and dimensions of the 9645 looks right!

May I ask, what is the year of the catalogue in your photo? And, by chance do you know what types of pockets, et al, are part of the 9645?

Appreciation for all of you, in advance. Seriously. J
The catalog is from 1978. Here are some pictures of the pockets.

Both bags with the Limited Edition numbers, the tan 9075 and the black 9074, are genuine and the serial numbers were stamped by the same stamp.

The creed with 9992 style number and 2002 B plant creed was fake.

The 9074 creed looks exactly like the 9075 that you asked about.

I saw this bag on a Goodwill auction and love the style, but am not sure if it is authentic. It looks good but I can't find it anywhere else! Help!
https://www.shopgoodwill.com/Item/62956792

I don't see any obvious problems, but can't find a photo of another one either. Since it's an outlet item from 8 years ago, that's not surprising, outlet items didn't make it into many online records. There's nothing that would make me think it isn't genuine.

If a second opinion makes you more comfortable, I'll say that I agree it's authentic.
