Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

I haven't decided yet. The bag and lining are grubby so I am tempted to dunk it, but I'm a bit afraid to do that. I might try surface cleaning and conditioning first and if that doesn't work - then I will give it a bath. I have dunked my Bleecker Flap bag and matching wallet in the Ink Color and they both came out well, see pic below:

Right. Anything Coach, but we might not be able to help with everything. Some of us are more familiar with newer styles than others, so don't be upset if your request is passed up by one authenticator.

Thanks whateve! I understand and I normally wouldn’t buy a “newer” bag, but I am a bit of a sneaker head and the stripes on these bags drew me to them. I purchased two different bags from eBay, so I’ll post them both. I’m wondering if there is a tag inside I should look for? They will both be here on Tuesday, so I will post pictures of that then, if that’s what is needed. I figure it can’t hurt to see if someone here has any knowledge on them, but I completely understand and thanks so much for your reply [emoji4]

This one is vintage, I watched this for about a month, being black bag kept me from bidding until now.

Comments: I tried searching for this bag but the Patricia bags I saw have a zipper, so I wasn’t sure and the hang tag was different then what I’ve seen with the bags I have already. The creed is kinda puffy looking, but I honestly have no clue. It so much easier when they are really clear and easy to read.

It's fine. It isn't a Patricia. Patricia's Legacy was introduced in 1994. This bag was made in the late 70s or 80s. It is a classic pouch, also called classic shoulder bag, #9170.
