I bought two lots on GoodwillOnline and I think they're probably not authentic. The online photos weren't helpful and their customer service is not very responsive. Anyway, I took a chance. If you need more photos let me know.

Thank you for your help.
You're right. They are both fake. The P plant code was never used for the US, and NT is not a valid prefix. NT-4903 is on the fakes list. There is nothing right about that bag. The leather looks terrible. Goodwill has a no fakes policy. Be insistent about getting a full refund, including shipping.

Have I said how much like an idiot I feel.

Bag 1 and 2 are authentic. I can't read the creed on #3 at all. Can you do something to enhance the numbers, possibly dusting it with cornstarch or eye shadow? Can you show the ends of the dowels, the back of the female part of the turnlock, and the top of the handle?

Hi everyone! I'm very new to Coach ownership and I'm loving it! I have done some limited research on authentication so I can spot a bad fake. This one is confusing me. When I look up the creed number it comes up with all sorts of bags that look just this one. The stitching looks ok, the creed is good quality, Coach isn't splashed on every piece of hardware. It even has tags and a Coach card thing in the middle pocket. The red flags I'm stuck on are four pieces of the hardware are not complete rings. They are split rings. Please help?View attachment 4306401 View attachment 4306401 View attachment 4306402
It appears authentic.

Hello! I have been searching this site for authentication tips.
Could someone take a look at some listings I am considering? I am not a serious collector but I would like to be informed.
Thanks in advance.

i think they all are authentic. The first and second were made for Coach boutiques. The last one is the same style as the first but it was made for factory stores.

Item: "Station bag"
Listing number: n/a
Seller: calivintageusa
Link: https://www.etsy.com/listing/672690...intage-70s-brown?show_sold_out_detail=1&frs=1
Comments: I'm skeptical that this is really 70s bag, seems more likely to be 80s to me. The flap looks different than other station bags I've seen, so I'm also not sure that that's really what the bag was called.
It wasn't made in the 70s and it isn't a station bag. It is a Shelton bag #9917 from the early 90s, probably 1993. The strap has been altered. It was cut shorter and more holes were punched. That wasn't disclosed in the listing.
