The bag is fine.

I don't know what you were comparing this bag to but you must do apples to apples. Your comp should be from another bag from the same year (2012) and same factory (75).

We need to lnow if the item is on an internet site and if so, the URL of the selling page and the seller's name. I really wish the creed picture was clearer. I think it is authentic. This particular bag was made in 2002. Earlier versions didn't have an adjustable strap but later versions might have. Straps can be switched out. I don't have any ads for this style after 1997 although the style was definitely made for a long time after. All my ads show lobster type clasps rather than dogleash like on this bag. The 2002 ad of the Willis shows an adjustable strap with dogleash clips.

There aren't any recent (meaning after 2000) pics of it in my files, the Wayback or my catalogs either but IIRC Coach had pretty much discontinued the old-style non-adjustable straps by at least the end of the 1990s and probably earlier. With fashions in strap lengths moving more and more toward the shorter "under the pit" carrying style a non-adjustable strap wouldn't have any marketability. Even on current Coach styles, how many long non-adjustable straps come to mind? Moving to a buckle adjustment version would have been an easy decision. There may be some now on the smaller crossbody styles but I've never looked that closely at them. Styles change but Coach sometimes takes a long time to change with them.

I've seen the style but I'm afraid I don't know the name. I can't figure out where that logo is on the bag. I don't see any pictures of the interior.

I am supposed to receive the bag tomorrow. I can post a clearer pic of the creed at that time. I'm really hoping it's a legit bag and the strap has just been replaced sometime during it's lifetime.

The creed is correct for 1994 when it was made.

Although I don't like or recommend Poshmark, I can see and read the creed and the font is correct for the Costa Rican plant as stated on the creed.
