Yes. I don't see any problems with dunking. All bags with those kind of handles could potentially have problems if water gets inside. That doesn't usually happen if the stitching is tight.

I try to keep handles and straps from getting waterlogged, anyway, so good food for thought re: stitching.

Comments: This looks to be in good condition. Are there any rehab red flags on these like cardboard in the bottom panel or materials in the handles which could be negatively affected by a dunk?

It looks good to me, but wait for Whateve on your dunking question. I don't think Coach has ever used cardboard in their classic leather bags since they were made with the possibility of washing them in mind.

I recall reading somewhere on the rehab forum about cardboard in some styles. Of course I can't recall which ones... Makes perfect sense that the classics would be made in a little more of a 'solid state' way.

It's fine. The piping might actually be a different color than the rest of the bag. That happened on older bags as different types of leather took the dye differently. Personally I like it, but it might bother you.

I had a buyer dispute the authenticity of a bag, so I re-authenticated it here, showing the link to the authentication to the buyer and to eBay in the subsequent not-as-described case. Nevertheless, eBay declined to honor this forum's authentication and is charging me for the return postage, as if I had sold a fake bag. WTF??? They also sent me a message pushing their new authentication service -- so maybe that's the real motive. Really unhappy with the experience.

Thanks for the sympathy! That is too bad, because I'm sure that the expertise here is as good or more likely better than any authentication service. I am constantly in awe of the depth of knowledge the authenticators display and the extensive documentation they have amassed. It really is a labor of love.
