Comments: I’ve asked for a better picture of the creed
.

As always, many thanks for your time and expertise!

1- genuine but NOT from the 1970s. That Willis style wasn't even introduced until 1993 which is probably when this one was made
2- genuine
3- genuine but a Lightweight style from the late 1980s, not the 1970s.
4- genuine, middle 1980s

It's 1995. It is actually C5C. Once I accidentally bought a bag with gum stuck inside, then I made a bigger mistake of dunking it in warm water. It was all I could do to not throw up while I worked on it.

Noted! I think gum would be worse than candy... hopefully you eventually got it all off!

All are fine.

Thank you both for these! I so appreciate your help. Looks as though I will be treating myself to a vintage bag for the holidays!

Good to know the Willis wasn’t introduced until 1993. I was wondering why I hadn’t seen any older ones.

On that note, I found another:

Hello! I am enjoying TPF!!! I was amazed to learn that their are fakes of vintage leather Coach bags. I can trust the ones that I was given years ago but a couple I bought on line have me concerned since there are some really good fakes. I bought a thrift shop city bag A8M-4896 and learned from you all at TPF that this number is a fake. Seemed like real leather. Wonder if it is okay to dismantle and create something out of the leather of a fake?
This following one was bought on line, last year I believe, and no longer can I find the listing. Thank you in advance for your advise!!! I greatly appreciate it!!
Item: L4H 4141 Hobo shoulder bucket?
Dimensions: 8.5"H 5"depth 10" height 17" to 19" drop (about)
Comments: stretch marks on leather is my concern. Bag's leather feels thinner than my other bags.

This one is fine.
It's fine to cut up fakes and use the leather for something else. One of our members makes tassels.

Posting again because they put up better photos of the creeds. They seemed OK to me, no glaring abnormalities. Fingers crossed!

Item: Carousel, Chaunsey and Mini Ergo Hobo (?)
Link: https://www.shopgoodwill.com/Item/61709397

Photos are in the link, as are dimensions under "item info".

Thank you in advance.

Thanks for arranging the extra photos.

All three are genuine, the black Ergo is an Ergo Mini Satchel

The -4141 style is from a line originally called the Lightweights and later became the Sohos, and why the leather seems thinner is self-explanatory once you know the name of the line. Thinner leather and lighter hardware were two of its major characteristics. The bag is a Soho Rivington.

This one is missing from my files too! Do you have a catalog pic?

  • Hi I was wondering if I could get this coach baby bag authenticated, picked it up in goodwill. It has no serial number. I would really appreciate your help. image.jpg
