So far I'm not happy with what I'm seeing. Just for starters the strap either has been cut down or replaced since there's no visible adjustment buckle, and the creed logo looks off. The serial number prefix is unreadable, and the gaps between some creed words are huge..

Is there any way you can use the "light powder trick:" to bring out the creed and serial number stamp? We really need to see the plant and year codes. The year looks like 1995 but I can't read the plant code.

Adding as I go through my files:

The creed stamping seems identical to these 2 confirmed fakes with 1994 and 1995 year codes, note the too-large and wide border around the Coach name and the creed spacing in the fourth line:

Still looking but I'm pretty sure it's fake, the creed stamp and logo just aren't right.

The black bag isn't a problem, it looks like a genuine Sheridan Glenwood 4225 made in 1994. It's the "Willis" that's a problem.
I'm sure the Willis is fake. The cartouche on the creed is completely wrong. The stamping is too fuzzy. The front pocket edge is too low. The turnlock tab is too short. The dowels aren't covered.

Hi all,
I was in the market for an hermes belt and thought to look in the preloved area first. Since, I'll only be wearing it during special events when I have to wear a dress (to cinch my waist  ). So I found this H belt that I liked
https://us.vestiairecollective.com/...rmes/pink-leather-h-hermes-belt-6319489.shtml
However when I was searching for similar belts I found this:
http://m.shopreplicas.cn/Replica/Hermes-13mm-leather-strap-in-Swift-Epsom-calfskin-H065538CAAS.html

now I'm concerned this belt I wanted might be a fake. If anyone could put their input or point me to an authenticator, it would be greatly appreciated.
Hi @purplepanda91

Welcome to TPF. You're in the wrong place for Hermes. (I know - it's confusing to find your way around even when you've been here for years!)

Here's where you need to post:

I believe that the bag is authentic.

What misspelled words do you think you are seeing?

(BTW, a few months ago, I did find some legitimate (i.e., on authentic bags) misspelled words. There are cases where Coach has made mistakes. But as has been repeated ad nauseum, post here to verify whenever there's a question.)

Comments: Seller calls out the dash is not in the normal place in the creed stamp. Can someone please confirm this is a legit error/legit bag? I found an older post with the same serial number, but the dash is in the normal place https://forum.purseblog.com/threads...ach-see-first-post-for-format.889527/page-655

Thanks so much !
I have the same creed in my files. I believe it is a factory mistake. The I month code is also a known factory error. I think the bag in the listing is authentic.

Oops, attention and commitment look all printed over each other.
Before I do more digging, as required by post 1, page 1, I'm going to request that you please post a link to the listing you're looking at.

Hi! I'm new to Coach and recently bought these 2 bags online. Hoping someone can authenticate for me :) They look good to me but I'm no expert.

BAG 1
Item: Coach Court (I think)
Listing number: 233001755377
Seller: shrkie
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-CO...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
Comments: Has silver hardware which I think I saw somewhere on this forum is fine for this specific bag?

BAG 2
Item: Coach Station
Listing number: N/A
Seller: that_girl

Comments: Seller disclosed that the strap is a Dooney & Bourke replacement, which I'm ok with. I prefer less hardware anyway

They both look fine.

Nickel hardware for the court bag was available around the time this bag was made.
