Can you please authenticate this little bag even though the creed is impossible to read fully. I bought it from GW

I don't believe it's authentic even though I can't read much.

I can't read the month clearly but it looks like *5S and I believe I can read part of the creed showing made in the US. The S plant (Chinese) wouldn't have been making bags in 1995 and wouldn't be on a US-made creed.

The thick font is wrong and the style number looks like it might say 9635 which wouldn't be the correct style.

Return it to Goodwill.

ETA: I sure hope that's not an outlet bullet on the creed just to the right of the cartouche!

Yes it does look like the outlet stamp on it. It doesn't surprise me much that it could be fake.I have a bag with that same style of adjustable strap and the buckles look a little different too. It does indeed say United and yes it does look like an S as the third digit.
ETA I think the Cartouche at the top of the cred looks super messy on its edges too.

Hi! Please authenticate this intriguing thrift find, camo leopard little bag...

11.25"L near opening, approx 7.25" at bottom "corners" (inset part with outer pocket)
7.50"H
3.25"W
The top of the bag is slightly curved, the turn lock on pocket is stationery (not turn)
No creed inside, only tag is the "made in China" tag

Please accept my apologies for the photo order!

Thank you!
Looks good but I don't know the style number or name.
Thank you, BeenBurned! If any other authenticators have any suggestions or explanations regarding this bag, I'm all ears!

I've seen it. I'm thinking it is from the Chelsea line around 2011. I never had anything from this line and can never remember the name of it.

I can't find the animal print version, but the leather versions are 46042 and 46262.

Just to add to the other comments -

The year code looks like 5 but that style strap with those multiple rings didn't come into use until the Equestrian styles and those weren't introduced until late 1997 as 1998 styles. The fake is a copy of either an Equestrian Small Flap 9801 or Equestrian Large Flap 9807 but the "5" year code means it can't be either one.

The magnetic snap is hard to read but just the spacing of the stamping tells me it can't be from a Coach supplier. A good close-up of the male part of the snap would help.

The Coach name in the cartouche is too big, the creed stamp is too close to the zipper, and the outlet stamp, if that's what it is, looks fake. The center circle seems too wide.

The stitching around the base and on the piping around the base is pretty bad, especially where the ends overlap.

Here are thumbnails of the 1997-98 Equestrian Flap bags I mentioned, those styles were faked a LOT. The dark one is the Small, 9801:
9807_Equestrian Lg Flap.JPG 9801_Equestrian small Flap-b.JPG

and Coach's Spring 1998 catalog page showing both, sorry that the print is so small

9801 + 9807_Equestrian Small + Large Flaps-1998 Spring.jpg

The "outlet stamp" is very faint, but compare it to the one on the red creed patch from a genuine 1998 bag, the small center circle seems to be missing and the stamp just isn't right. I've sen a few similar outlet stamps in apparently genuine bags but something seems just a bit off on this one. But the invalid year code is the real red flag :

I just got this purse and something isn't sitting right with me, I have about 48 hours to cancel through poshmark until I am stuck with it. If you look at the stitching on each side there are 2 double stiches on both sides - I scoured images on the internet and couldn't find any that showed these double stitched.

If the link works for the site here it is: https://poshmark.com/listing/Coach-NASA-Spaceship-Dylan-1941-Crossbody-NEW-5bc5e3ac9539f78c4baa95e9

I found a site that still has the stock images:

A little more info - here is a Tradesy listing of the same purse:
https://www.tradesy.com/i/coach-194...-camera-blue-leather-cross-body-bag/24297942/

If you look closely at the listing you can't see the double stitches on this one.

Also for a brand new purse, it seems that the stitching on the back should not already be coming loose.
Thank you in advance for any help, I truly appreciate it.

I really hope it's real but I don't want to let that cloud my judgement. Its a Christmas present for my Girlfriend who loves Coach and is a huge space fanatic, I am bummed I didn't buy one of these when they were new in the store.

For what it's worth, it smells like real leather and doesn't feel cheap - if it is a fake it is an elaborate one.

It's most likely fake. Note that in the comments I had asked the seller for a pic of the kisslock pocket and he simply ignored. Here's one example of the differences without even seeing further details. Can you post a pic of the kisslock hardware and a clear pic of the Creed patch also? Screenshot_20181127-023454.jpeg

I kind of ignored the color on Space patch because I thought it could just be saturation in the photos - in this photo I just saturated the color and you can see the difference. Also overlooked that he ignored your comment - probably shouldn't have.

Here is the best one I can get of the Creed patch, thank you so much again. View attachment 4263549

Seller oenotheque - Be sure to include sellers' names!

It's absolutely without a doubt fake.

While there are replacement tags that can be made at store level that have fonts that differ from original tags, the tag on the fake you received is identical to many of the fake tags I've seen.

The kisslock is incorrect and there are many other things wrong with the bag.

In fact, in looking at Poshmark's @oenotheque other items, ALL of which (including LV Supreme) are highly faked, I would avoid the seller and report to Poshmark.

OMG! This seller has sold a LOT of fakes!

ETA: There's a reason why the seller chooses Poshmark over ebay! Ebay would have (and may already have) booted her long before she ripped off so many buyers. Poshmark doesn't GAS.
