Hi there,

I recently purchased these bags at a thrift store and would appreciate it if I can get them authenticated. Please let me know if anyone needs additional pictures. Thank you in advance!

And lastly this bag. There was no serial number/production code... only the made in China tag so I'm not too sure about this one. The measurements are 7" L by 9" W. Again thank you in advance!

Small bags like this often don't have creeds. It looks fine. It was probably called a Madison leather swingpack, possibly style #47261.
They all look fine.

Hello! I purchased a vintage coach bag and I want to know if it is an authentic one. Thank you.

It will tide me over until I find a HG vintage bag in periwinkle or a Legacy Rambler like yours!
I sometimes see bags in those colors from around 2005 on EBay, but most of them are in a horrible condition with loss of color. I am wondering whether there was some weakness to the process because they don’t seem to be holding up at all. There is one for sale right now, if you did not see it, search for “aqua teal blue”, but it looks like a lost cause.

I know, really. Also, bags I see for the most part are from the Lightweights. Maybe the thinner leather? And maybe there are just pigments that do not saturate the leather as well. I was also looking online over the summer at bags from around 2007, I believe from the Peyton line, in coral/persimmon/orange that didn’t wear well either.
Whateve has a gorgeous periwinkle belted pouch that is in mint condition. And I know my sister had one too, but whether or not she still has it . . .
So my cornflower girl will tide me over

Yep, I think it’s at least in part due to saturation. Those blue unlined bags are all grey inside, and the scratches are grey, the blue doesn’t go all the way through. If you are interested in that coral/persimmon/orange color, there was also carnelian, around 2012, that one seems to do OK. (Yeah, I just bought another bag this morning).
