Hi Everyone, I'm new here, so pardon any mistakes or ignorances. I purchased this purse today at a flea market. So many things point this to being authentic, and then there are things that are bugging me about it... like the fact i can't find another image of this anywhere online, and I can with all my other Coach bags. Please help! And thank you in advance. IMG_8688.jpg IMG_8689.jpg IMG_8683.jpg IMG_8684.jpg IMG_8687.jpg

Please post the measurements, see Post Number One of this thread. It's genuine and probably a Pocket Bag, style 9875 from around 1990, but measurents would prove it.

    Item:

  • If the bag in question is not on an auction site, please use the following:

Item Name (if you know it):
    Link (if available):
Then attach any photos (all authentication must include photos.)
    • Please be sure to include a clear readable photo of the creed stamp and serial number from inside the bag or accessory if there is one, and the bag's measurements when the bag is an older or vintage leather Coach.
    • Since mid-2014, Coach stopped putting serial numbers on creeds so in newer bags where the creeds don't have serial numbers, we also need to see pictures of the labels/tags from inside the bag. They are either both in the main open part sewn into the seam of the lining, or one might be buried deep inside the zipper pocket. One shows where made and the other has a serial number.

TIANA HODGES -
You didn't follow all the instructions in Post number One of this thread. There should be another small white tag with 2 rows of letters and numbers that's probably all the way at the bottom of thre largest pocket. Turn the pocket inside out and feel around for it.

Your other information is seriously out of date - Coach stopped using stamped serial numbers between 2014 and 2017. Not having a stamped number has NO connection to vintage New York City bags, which would be 30 years OLDER than this one. And the brand of zipper means absolutely NOTHING about whether or not the bag is authentic. It's not neccessary to take photos of the stamp on the zipper.

Please find that second small tag and post a photo. Thanks!

If you bought online, be aware that there are many seller with (seemingly) good reputations who wouldn't know an authentic bag if it bit them. I'm curious what makes your seller "known to be reliable."

While it has all the earmarks of a Coach bag, there are no labels other than the removable hangtag, so I can't say it was made by Coach. There should be a Coach tag inside.

That’s what I thought. Glad I confirmed. I saw one on Pinterest exactly the same but in a forest green , there were no photos of the inside so I couldn’t use that to help verify.

I appreciate your quick reply. Thank you.
