The color on your burgundy bag is excellent! What did you do to this bag to make the color so bright? I have a burgundy Rambler; however, the color on the bag is much darker than yours.
Thank you!
( It does look a little brighter in the photos because of my camera flash,
so maybe yours is the same? In some lights it looks brownish)
I did not do anything to it, this is the natural color, no conditioners or anything since it was
only carried a couple of times.

A few more authentications if you don't mind, doing some
light refurbishing! :D
1. Tan Studio Flap?
2. British Tan City Bag

Thank you!

And this waist pack, also in my possession and due for some fixin!

I think that the year and factory codes got switched?
I found a few more of this style and the creed wording is different on the Made in USA bags. BUt then I located more from later years (like this one) and it has the same creed wording as mine.
Here's a listing that might be from the same factory.

Never mind. (I think she double posted.)

We can't delete a post so we have to edit and remove the text we typed if the change our mind about a post.

Thanks BeenBurned. I was pretty sure it meant never mind; however, I wasn't sure what I was supposed to be never minding so I thought perhaps it meant something else. Knowing that you can't delete posts is also good to know, I wasn't aware of that before.

Hi, before listing to sell, i thought i'd better confirm authenticity. an envelope bag NYC in cherry red? my catalogue doesnt list red as one of the colors, but maybe it was added the following year or so? i attached pics, let's see if they show up!

ok photos attached.
my bag, want to have authenticated?

It's a genuine Envelope Portfolio, style 5190 from the late 1980s.

Unless you bought it yourself directly from a Coach store or Coach counter at a department store, there's no way to know exactly what year it was made and if red was available that year. There also was more than one Coach catalog per year.

thanks much! i figured it was authentic, but didnt see red listed in my catalogue listing; so it must have been sold in a later year.
