I apologize, I pushed submit by mistake and my post did not come out correctly. Looking to find out if this bag is legit, I found it at a thrift store for cheap, serial number I believe says L8C 9076, it almost seems real but the tag is on the inside zipper, can't seem to find this bag, a legacy flap I think with inside pics of zipper.
Waiting for pictures.

And now for the MYSTERY BAG CHALLENGE OF THE WEEK!

This week we have a two-fer:

There's also an unknown style 9987 that has been referred to as a Sherbourne but I haven't been able to confirm that. Same time period, almost the same measurements, and maybe so close to the Willis that Coach decided to drop it from the lineup early. If anyone has any solid details, tags, receipts, photos, etc we'd love to see them.

There's also a combination of Willis and Court Bag (same size) with no dowel, style number 9989 that seems to have met an early end too, if anyone has any info on it. It may even have been a pilot bag or sample.

I just bought a style 9989 off of eBay (for $43!) but mine appears to have square shaped hardware where the shoulder strap attaches instead of the rounded hardware as seen in these pics. The creed is the same: F6A-9989. Any thoughts as to why those might be different? I can't wait to receive it, I'm so excited!
