Good morning, authenticators. I'm back for a third try at a classic duffle sac from the 90s but this time prior to purchase. (Hmm. Apparently you can teach an old dog some new tricks)

Item: Coach duffle sac 9085
Listing number: 253810702637
Seller: 87vanden6
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-LRG-...702637?hash=item3b184bf92d:g:pHIAAOSw~yNbb7Ym

Just looking to confirm authenticity. Frankly black and British Tan are two colors of this bag that I never had. Hoping to find a genuine bag on ebay but doubting my eyes and decision making abilities. BTW Both previous fakes were returned for full refunds with return labels. All thanks to this forum.

ETA: I have pasted and re-pasted the link into this post. No idea why it won't show up and what on earth an emoji is doing in it. Hopefully no one will mind searching by item number on ebay.
This one is good.

The reason those emojis show up is that the extension on the URL that come after the end of the item number (after the "?") has the code for the emoji.

If you C&P the URL and remove the extension, they won't show:

This doesn’t look right to me. Please confirm.

Is the font for the creed wrong? I know that buckle is from Flat Iron family, def not a Sonoma. I just thought the seller was misinformed and the leather for that one side panel went wonky.
FYI, MIZDAZY has a long history of listing fakes.
There are probably more things wrong with the bag but the creed is incorrect for the 1997 C plant and the lining shouldn't be sonoma lining.

Compare MIZDAZY to a couple of other 4177s as well as to authentic bags that were made in the same month/year/plant as her fake claims to have been made:

ETA: This is the same seller and her other ID. If ebay removes the listing above, watch for it to be listed by 57shediac

mizdazy - store name: Mizdazy s excess baggage

I think we need to be really cautious about reporting Flatiron styles. Every one in my files seems to have some variation from "normal" even down to creed and serial fonts. Some have Sonoma linings, some plain and some with Coach logos. There doesn't seem to be any consistency but there's an extremely slim chance this one MIGHT be ok although the serial font isn't right. The only other J7*- serials I can find all seem to be from the B plant. I'm giving myself a headache looking at these. As usual, I'd rather be overly cautious when reporting but that's JMO.
