I don't believe that item is authentic. Backs of turnlocks with the indentations are generally on fakes although there are cases where the hardware might have been replaced. However there are other problems with your case that point to fake. Your item has a sloppily stamped logo and sloppy stitching.

We've discussed those pouches and there appear to be two similar but different authentic versions, neither of which is like yours.

One authentic version has the logo on the lower right (as does yours) but the back of the turnlock closure is different.

The other authentic version has the logo on the upper right under the flap and has a different turnlock than the above authentic comp:

Compare the stitching and piping:

ETA: One more comp shows differences in the logo as well as differences in the shape of the flap and turnlock location.

Other opinions are welcome.

Good morning. I would appreciate any help on this item I scooped up secondhand. I believe it's authentic but would love a second opinion. Also if anyone is a style name guru, I'd really appreciate knowing what to call this bag!
Style Number: F0798-10953 (originally I thought it was 10958, now I think I found it as a Chelsea Satchel in pebbled leather?)
Measurements: L 13" H 6" D 4" Handle drop 9.5"IMG_9499.JPG IMG_9500.JPG IMG_9502.JPG IMG_9504.JPG IMG_9506.JPG

Good Morning Authenticators!
Need a bit of help with 2 bags before I start the “rehab”...one purchased on EBay and one from Goodwill
First: mini Willis, (Murphy?) I think...sorry about crappo Creed pic...I took a lot and they didn’t show up.
Creed is D4C 9930....hope that is OK
2nd is a “newer” bag...handle seems “plasticy”...(but I’m more familiar with the wonderful old leather bags, haha!)
Sorry for all the pics...I’m hoping I got all you needed.
And Thank y’all for your time!
