• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Do NOT buy that bag! There are serious problems with the creed and serial number stampings and I see other details that are setting off alarms in my head. The more I look the more problems I find, but you have to know exactly what details to look for. DEFINITELY fake.

We STRONGLY recommend that Coach items being bought through Poshmark be authenticated BEFORE buying, since PM not only has no effective procedure in place to remove reported fakes, but often refuses to refund the purchase price of a fake item even when presented with irrefutable evidence that the item is counterfeit.

Your first listing seems to have the wrong link, you list it as "Authentic Coach Carly brown signature C hobo purse" but the link goes to a vintage foldover clutch and the seller's name is different. Please check.

As for where to buy, I'll just say that Poshmark, Etsy, Listia and a few others are the ones I would recommend the most caution with, none of them have any buyer-friendly steps in place to report and remove fakes or get refunds, quite a few members here have reported problems from all of them in getting their money back, although some of our members seem satisfied so far with their buying and selling experiences. And those sites NEVER remove listings for fakes no matter what kind of evidence they're presented with.

The ones with the best rules and procedures in place for both reporting fakes and getting refunds seem to be Bonanza and Ebay. I can't answer for sites outside the USA but I would always avoid any sites located in China or the Philippines. That's where the majority of fakes are currently made or distributed worldwide.

Hyacinth is much nicer than I when it comes to Poshmark. I won't even authenticate items from that site because of their practices and non-action. Not only do they not remove reported fakes but they BAN posters who offer authenticity advice when requested.

It appears that many sellers know exactly what type of trash they're peddling and when called on it, they report the messenger who ultimately gets banned from PM without so much as a warning, email or without even being told that she was banned. (Yep, I'm talking about myself! I was banned because someone tagged me and requested a response.)

As for the (not) Carly bag from KERRY_ON, the following is a comparison of her fake bag's creed to an authentic bag made in the same month/year/plant. Notice the differences even though they should be identical (except for the style number/suffix):

I don't know where you're getting these items but you've already learned that your Dior wallet and Coach wallet that you bought from the "individual seller" are fakes.

Without going into detail, I'm sure both Coach bags are fake and I recommend against buying from that "individual" and if you've already bought, please do NOT resell!

Genuine, it's been called a Zippered Pouch and Small Zippered Pouch. The style number is 9655 and was made in the early to middle 1980s.
