It's fine. In the late 90s, Coach switched to using nylon zippers instead of metal in most bags.

ETA: It's not quite vintage yet.

I'm giving this a Bump to ask for more opinions but I don't believe it's genuine, there are problems with the creed patch and I believe this style should have had a serial number. Is the seller from the Philippines?

EXTREME care should be used with sellers from the P.I, even by other residents of that country. There are a LOT of fakes being made in the Philippines, or being passed through the P.I. from China and other major producers of counterfeits, and this may be one of them. Ebay usually doesn't even allow listings of highly faked items from the Philippines to appear on Ebay Searches run by members in the USA because of the problems with counterfeits.
I'm playing catch-up so I'm late to getting to this. I was several pages behind and although I often post prior to completing reading, I finished prior to posting.

I agree with @Hyacinth that the bag is fake and the seller on Facebook, Alou Valmonte Jacinto isn't to be trusted. (As soon as I looked at the FB page, I too sensed a seller in the Philippines. And we are correct. From her facebook, she's from Bocaue, Bulacan.)

These pictures on the seller's FB page are a huge red flag.

And although I don't know Marc Jacobs watches, I doubt that MJ made these:

and Rolex:

If you bought those bags, please return them and demand a full refund.

I think the purple and black ones are authentic. I have one of these, but I can't find it at the moment. I know the logos look sloppy, but that is how they look on mine too, and on all that I've seen.

I have doubts about the other two. I've never seen either of these styles, and they vary from the authentic styles in some details. The first one doesn't have the Coach logo on the bottom like the rest of this line does. On the nude one, the logo isn't centered and the background of the logo isn't the same color as the purse like in the others.

Thank you so much Mam! It is a great help. I bought also CK and Crocs and im sure that those are also fake but they keep on denying because they said that I was the only customer who made a complaint and I said..Im sure all of them are not aware bec.they have trusted your page and you are guaranteeing that all are authentic. Thaks again! Here are some of their photos

ETA: I wonder whether she's putting (possibly) genuine hang tags on fakes. It's not the first time it'd been done!

Just because people don't complain doesn't mean that the seller is honest. (There are sellers on ebay also who've sold blatant fakes and received positive feedback. Buyers don't always know when they received a fake so they don't know to complain.)

Ive been so out of the loop the last 2 week's or so that I haven't had time to shop or anything. I came across this bag at a goodwill. I liked the olive color but there is no creed just a tiny little "coach" metal plate. I was iffy on it but took a chance. It measures 8x5.5x4. It looks older and it's not very big so that could explain the lack of creed and I didn't want to miss it if it was legit.

Thanks for thr help.

You did good! It's authentic from the late 60s, early 70s. It was made before Coach used creeds.

Just opinions...

The first one, the red and cream 2-tone, doesn't look like any Coach bag I've seen and there aren't even any Coach logos. The enameling is really messy. Probably fake

second, burgundy, looks ok, style 1743 (which came in 2 different handbag designs AFAIK) and the logo on the base seems to match a set of my photos for a genuine Tote charm, a few are posted below

third, black, same style as the burgundy, looks ok.

fourth, nude - I agree about the off-center Coach logo on the base. Probably Fake, or really sloppy stamping, but the style isn't in my files (there was a 1K07 Tote 3-dimensional keyfob available too but it's very similar to the 1743 Tote Keyfob). If Coach made any other 3-dimentional charms besides the Top Handle in the last picture, I don't have them in my files.
