  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock

Try this again.

While I'm not certain that the bag is fake, there are enough differences that I don't recommend buying pksmooth 's bag.

I searched ebay and found 17 current and 62 completed listings for "coach snoopy satchel" and NONE had snoopy on the lower right.

The only other bag I found with a number for the limited edition was this one on Bonanza. But the bag on Bonz, like those on ebay have Snoopy on the center front of the bag.

Thank you so much BeenBurned. I thought this bag looked really weird, and there is a definite lack of information in the listing as well. This board was obsessed with the collection at the time of the first Coach X Peanuts release, and I never saw pictures with the Snoopy on the side.

There's a big difference in the quality of the creed and serial stampings too. The stampings in the one being questioned are almost illegible. The one on Bonanza is clear as a bell. and is a Limited Edition of 100, not 500. To me 500 doesn't sound like much of a Limited Edition, and why haven't we seen any of the other 499 examples?

And biggest red flag of all? THERE'S NO INDIVIDUAL EDITION NUMBER IN FRONT OF "of 500" !!!

LOL! My "never mind" post had been comparing other non-puffy creeds and I'd had in mind to comment on the "limited edition" number vs. other bags without the numbers.

Then when I found the seller's listing with "23 (or 28) of 100" with a similar puffy creed, I decided that was a more valid comparison, edited my post out and reposted.

In a senior moment (of which there are many), I forgot to mention that discrepancy.

Thank you for bringing it back up!

And now the listing is gone!

I predict that it'll be relisted so we can watch for it:

Yep, it already had at least 3 bids with a High of around $147 so I'm sure the seller pksmooth will either re-list or maybe just contact the high bidder and sell it off Ebay. But at least we tried.
