All genuine, lightweights Soft Satchel 4055, probably 9765 large Madison Satchel and #3 is one of the Daphne Satchels or Carryalls.

I'm trying to authenticate this wristlet, sold as a "Bonnie Cashin-era". There are no tags, no serial numbers. It looks to have the Mexican Stripe lining. The inside is off-white suede.
Thanks in advance! View attachment 4125431 View attachment 4125432 View attachment 4125433 View attachment 4125434 View attachment 4125436 View attachment 4125438 View attachment 4125432 View attachment 4125433 View attachment 4125434 View attachment 4125436 View attachment 4125438
Are you sure the first picture with the turnlock closure is the same item as the other pictures?

It looks authentic and may be some type of jewelry case. it's definitely not vintage nor Bonnie Cashin.

The lining is called "legacy stripe."

It's not Bonnie Cashin era. It was made around 2006-2007. The lining is what was used in the 65th anniversary Legacy collection. It was a jewelry case. It's authentic. More opinions are welcome.
I'd already typed my reply so much of what I said was already said by whateve.

I agree with @whateve that it's authentic.

Hello, new to the forum. This place is awesome! Was wondering if someone could help authenticate this purse.

Item: Dark brown stewardess bag
Seller: trunkofjewels
Link: https://etsy.me/2N2ramD
Comments: Purchased this, believing it was real. Now I’m doubting myself. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!
Welcome!

The bag you received is authentic but trunkofjewels doesn't verify that her items are the real deal.

This listing is a fake:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/622536415/vintage-coach-navy-blue-leather-tribeca?ref=related-3

And this one was sold:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/613205137/sale-vintage-coach-red-leather-legacy?show_sold_out_detail=1

And another sold fake:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/560366764/sale-vintage-coach-black-leather?show_sold_out_detail=1

Who knows how many other (of her 518 sales) were fakes?

I'd avoid the seller in the future. JMHO.

Thank you! That’s why I was so concerned, when I started looking through some of her other items, they definitely didn’t look like the real deal. I will avoid this seller in the future for sure. Have other people purchased from this seller before and received authentic bags, or mostly fakes?

From the list BeenBurned included in her post about just that one seller, it's obvious that people have received fakes. There are other Etsy sellers we're aware of who have regularly sold and listed fake items that had already been reported and removed from the Ebay accounts those sellers also use, so they already should have been aware that the items were fake but listed and sold them anyway to Etsy customers. Reporting the sellers or fake items to Etsy has NO effect.

Etsy doesn't care and has constantly refused to remove items reported to them by qualified individuals (including members of these forums) as fake. Listia and Poshmark have the same business model and refuse to remove fake items and to give refunds to buyers who have gotten stuck with fakes. EXTREME care should be used when buying from any of those sources among others, and nothing should ever be purchased from them without having the items authenticated here first.

Please refer to post 1, page 1 for the posting format. We need to know where item came from and/or seller ID and link to the listing if bought online.

I bought it at a church tag sale. Sorry for my pictures that are kind of all over the place. I've never posted pictures from my camera to this thread before. :)

From the list BeenBurned included in her post about just that one seller, it's obvious that people have received fakes.
The account of trunkofjewels currently shows as having 518 sold items. Having spent just a few minutes looking at some of her items, I found the other current listing I'd posted plus two others that she sold. So in answer to your question in red above, YES, other buyers HAVE received fakes.

Having left positive feedback for the seller, it's clear that the buyers didn't realize they received fakes. And that's scary because some of those buyers (Teresa for example) seem to be resellers, based on the quantities of purchases she's made. Thus many of the fakes will remain in circulation, further causing more buyers to be scammed.

And although it's OT from Coach, the buyer Teresa, who has been making many purchases from trunkofjewels IS a reseller with ID TheVintagemints

Maybe these sellers don't realize that they're selling fakes but they should! Or they should be made aware!

EDITED TO ADD:
Here are a few more fakes sold by TRUNKOFJEWELS, sales that go back to 2017-

Sold on October 22, 2017 -
https://www.etsy.com/listing/541754098/everything-must-go-sale-vintage-coach?show_sold_out_detail=1

Sold on October 19, 2017 -
https://www.etsy.com/listing/548357001/everything-must-go-sale-vintage-coach?show_sold_out_detail=1

These listings are of obvious enough fakes that someone who sells as much as this seller should have recognized them as such.
