Please let me know if this bag is authentic.

Item: Coach pebble leather hobo handbag shoulder bag

I believe this is a Beckett? Don’t know year made. Color is navy.

Ebay Item #: 223022120573

Please follow the format requested in Post Number One for the information we need to authenticate. That includes measurements of the bag.

It's NOT pebbled leather. I don't know why the seller used that description. It's a genuine Becket Zip style 9920..

As for measurements, the reason why they;re so important is right in the listing description's measurements, the seller says it's 9x9 inches but both your measurements and Coach's measurements in their catalogs are different.

Thank you, DubbW! Coffee at 11?
Hyacinth, I thought you might like to know how I “fixed” my New Willis strap issue and flaking hardware. It also helped me avoid the temptation to cut off the short strap. (I wouldn’t normally advise altering original hardware but the flaking rings clearly weren’t adding any value.) I found the replacement rings on Amazon. Now both straps hang better and I can remove the short strap without cutting if I like. What do you think? Cheerio Mrs Buck... uh Hyacinth!

Thank you! No idea why the seller called this pebbled leather. I see there’s a Beckett rehab buried several years back on this forum. Looking forward to restoring this bag’s beauty.

I think it's a great idea. I've used those spring-gate rings on a lot of my bags to make a strap removeable or extend the long strap a bit more since all my bags are worn cross-body and sometimes a few inches more in length makes a huge difference. But that's a very clever way to eliminate the flaking problem and make the short handle much more practical. Good thinking!

I really like this bag but am iffy on it. I've not seen the creed quite like this and the seller has mostly good feedback but some recent negatives make me wary. If you could assist me I would appreciate it. Thanks! (I also searched the forums and found some less than favorable comments re this seller so I'm guessing fake but...)

Why doesn't the style number on the creed match the bag???

Also one of the overhead pics in the listing clearly shows a black creed patch but the one in the listing with the wrong style number is the same color as the bag's leather.

#23188 belongs to a completely different bag. Seartch for "coach 23188"on Ebay.

The creed photo seems to be from another bag in a different style also being listed by that seller. Sloppy and unprofessional.

I would NOT buy that bag especially given the seller's previous record. Search tPF's forums for " rfrcorp ".

While I'm not a fan of the seller, I think the seller just posted the wrong creed photo. The picture showing the edge of the black creed (photo #3) seems to be the correct picture and the correct creed color. (This listing from a different seller shows the creed.)

The creed showing style 23188 belongs to the bag in this listing:
