Hi, I’m new to this so sorry if I accidentally mess this up!
So, today I went thrifting and found a Coach mini backpack (I think it may be men’s style?) marketed as vintage and I was wondering if it’s real.
-The bag is about 7 inches long, about 9.5 inches tall, and about 4 inches wide. The straps are about 34 inches long.
-For some reason the site won’t let me post the pictures so I’ve inserted a link to a pinterest board I made with all the photos: https://pin.it/k5ygwqlk4o33f4
-Note: Unfortunately, the creed is not very readable because it is quite worn out. Sorry for the inconvenience that will cause

Item: Coach Ace Glovetanned leather and suede
Seller: searching_somethinggood

Comment: The creed looks off, shouldn’t the Ace bags part of 1941 collections?
Then you guys so much!
Looks good to me.

For future reference, any time a bag has a turnlock, we need to see clear pictures of the BACK of the turnlock plate that's used on the back of the flap, the piece that the prongs from the front plate are holding on to. A photo showing the full length of any inside zippers PLUS the part of the inside pocket past the zipper ends all the way to just past the edge of the pocket itself would also help. We're looking for very small mistakes in critical details, so even something like those sewn-on attachments on the ends of the drawstring pulls can be important, but you have a very good photo of that area so I'm seeing what I need to see (and it worries me a little)..

Can you get pictures, clear and well-focused, of those first 2 items? And BTW, I think the size of your photos is what's causing the problem with tPF, they look HUGE when I use the maximum setting. The originals shouldn't be much wider than about 1200 or 1600 pixels or they won't download. Try downsizing them to about that size before trying to download them to tPF. We don't usually need to see microscopic details, just clear ones. Thanks!

Hello! I was given this purse as a gift years ago and I plan on selling it soon. Since it was a gift (and I know nothing about purses) I thought I'd authenticate it here before I list it. It's 7.5 inches horizontal and 8.5 vertical.

Thank you for your time!

So are, it seems okay but we need to see the full bag. Note that the zipper brand marking is unnecessary because brand has nothing to do with whether the bag is authentic or not (despite what you may have read in various online "authenticity" guides.)

Thank you so much for looking at this and sorry for missing those pictures! I just added them to the pinterest board, and I hope they are the ones you are looking for. If not, just let me know what I did wrong and I can redo it. Thank you so much and here is the link again! https://pin.it/k5ygwqlk4o33f4

Thanks for the photos, I'm afraid the news isn't good.

The serial number has a plant code that was seldom used and we don't have many photos of the genuine version, but there are a few small differences in yours. There's also the problem I mentioned with the drawstring, and another problem with the turnlock.

It's a very close copy, but I don't think the Daypack is genuine. Sorry.

More opinions are welcome.

Comments: Please authenticate this Coach items. TIA.

This is my first post so forgive me if I don’t do this quite right. Can anyone help authenticate this Coach New Willis Bag I bought pre-owned. Serial Number: A1320-22382. I found peeling/flaking on one of the large silver metal rings for attaching strap to the dowel on top edge of bag. Under the silver colored “plating” the ring looks like brass. Also, the short strap is attached oddly in a way where it can’t be removed when unbuckled. See photo. I know this isn’t a 70th Anniversary version, and has a “bullseye” on the creed. I figured it was an outlet style which is o.k. but now I’m wondering if this is a fake since discovering the issues with the strap hardware and way the short strap is attached. Also does anyone know if Coach would repair the strap problem or send me replacement rings? Thank you!
