We're not allowed to guess about values. Check Ebay for the style number and click the Completed link for the listings with a selling price in green. That's what someone was willing to pay. There are NO set values for Coaches.

Thank you! Out of curiosity, when is a Coach item considered “vintage”? I read that it needs to be at least 20 years old (in the Vintage Coach thread), but 1994 was also mentioned, so I’m wondering if after 1994 it’s not considered vintage.

20 years is the accepted standard for "vintage" with clothing and accessories.

It IS the wrong font. And it looks like the inside of the leather panels are 3 different colors. The piece holding the leather binding strip together around the base is in the wrong place too.

I'm new to this so I will try to make sure I include what is needed. There is no listing for this it was bought at a garage sale for just a couple dollars. I think its fake but my daughter bought it. I couldnt find anything online about it and there is no creed. I also couldn't find any tags inside of the bag. The hardware seems flimsy to me and the material that is supposed to be leather doesn't feel like leather.

I also purchased this one that I believe to be authentic. I got it off of a local Facebook buy/sell/trade site and the posting has been removed since I picked it up. I paid $6 for it. But I just wanted to make sure it was real in case I ever wanted to part with it (I love it so not likely!)

Just picked up 3 Coach purses from a thrift store. I took a chance, but they were a pretty good deal. I'll just deal with one at a time. The code on the first purse is C06K-10126. It is 17" wide by 11" tall. The straps stand 7.25" tall from top of purse. Is it real or fake? Thanks for any help!!

Very bad fake, the lining is completely wrong, the Cs are much too big and the hangtag is an obvious fake. The REAL 10126 including the reversible side should look like the one below from Coach's website. GET YOUR MONEY BACK, it's a federal offense for anyone including thrifts and non-profits to sell counterfeit goods. Those Signature Stripe styles were highly and very closely faked and should NEVER be bought without a careful authentication first, regardless of how good a deal they seem.


I'm also including a pic of the GENUINE hangtag for that exact style, although since they're also faked and easily changed or switched, hangtags should never be used as the only proof of authenticity. Notice that the brass-color Legacy disk next to the hangtag should be much lighter too, those brass extra pieces on fakes are often much too "antiqued" and are much darker than the genuine ones. The spacing of the words is also wrong on yours.

It looks OK, one of Ali styles from 2006 maybe. But in the future we need to see larger photos, about double the size of what you posted here. The creed and serial number photos are especially important.
