Please follow the following requests:

• Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• Front of item

• Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
• Made in tags (when available)
• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Hi! I purchased this bag and think it may be an Outlet bag but not sure. Could you authenticate it? Sorry, the creed pics did not come out great. The wording on the creed and the hang tag made me suspect .

Had you come here prior to purchasing, I wouldn't have recommended that bag or seller because none of the pictures are the seller's own but instead were found on the internet and stolen from other sellers. Sellers should be doing to the work to take their own pictures so buyers can see exactly what they're going to get.

With that said, if the pictures you showed are of the item you received, it's authentic.

Here is a second purse I found at the same thrift shop. Small black leather pouch with detachable adj strap. No code on the creed. It measures 6"L x 5"H x 2"D Thank you again!

FAKE. Don't waste your time or your money!

Serial numbers starting with "J8Y-" are ALWAYS fake, just like J8P- ot J8H-, read the copy of Daria48's Fake Numbers List that (I hope!) is still posted at Ebay's UK site:

As usual, I REALLY appreciate your time on this...printing both now. For me, as a vintage collector but a real newbie to all this info, it really gets depressing when it seems I’m seeing more FAKES than authentic bags. I’ve reported 2 today (not counting this one!) just on the basis of previous posts you added. At least ebay removed them...

Yes they were on eBay - my husband bought them on my account - not sure about them- I will see if I can still get those details for you and repost later today- the tag (not sure if from a discount store) and the label that you are supposed to tear off doesn’t have the scissors and dotted line perforation on it- thank you in advance
