Hi authenticators,

I bought this on eBay during the one day sale and just received today but I am a little suspicious of its authenticity. FYI the seller sent me creed photos before purchasing. Bag dimensions are roughly 10" long by 6" tall by 2" thick. Could someone confirm? Thanks for your time!

Comments: The creed and overall bag quality seemed ok but the gold hardware is a different color than all my recent outlet items in imitation gold. The "new York" engraving on the turnlock plate looks like two lines (even with a magnifying lense). I'm not sure about the hang tag. See attached photos of item I received.

There should be a small white tag/label inside, probably buried inside the zippered pocket. You might have to turn the pocket inside out to find it.

It really doesn't matter how much or how little it cost. It's illegal to sell fakes anywhere and that seller should give you a refund and allow you to destroy the bag or pay for you to send it back.

(And if I'd bought it, I'd demand a refund.)

Keep in mind that you can't (legally) resell it. And even admitting it's fake doesn't mean that it can be sold.

I hope the facebook seller is honest and does the right thing.

I messaged with her tonight and we are meeting up for a refund. She said she feels bad and said she didn't know it wasn't real. She had another Coach listed and I told her that might not be real either. She said she was going to get it looked at. When we meet up, I will advise her not to sell it, or give it away to a charity that would. I appreciate your advice and am glad to have a supportive group here

As long as she's not coming here to advertise and link to her listings, I don't mind helping an honest seller make sure her items are legal.
