Please follow the following requests:

• Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• Front of item

• Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
• Made in tags (when available)
• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

(Moderators, feel free to move!) but I’ve not seen any other way to post, haha! Found this bag on eBay but the Creed looked wrong AND also I cannot find reference to that style # ANYWHERE!!

It's authentic. It was made before 1994 so the number has no relation to the style number. This is part of the Lightweights collection. It kind of looks like a Light tote #4065 from around 1989-1990 but the measurements don't match.

Bought a bag on etsy last Sunday, I was prompted that a label was created on the tuesday, but then, that was it, she still hasn't shipped the bag. I understand that things come up, but I sent her a message yesterday and didn't get any response, even though she was very responsive before I purchased anything.

You can post the link here (per post 1, page 1) and verify authenticity. You can also do a search for any posts by the sellers ID and see if there have been negative issues.

While I don't recommend the seller, if you get the same bag that is shown in those pictures, you will get an authentic bag.

I've read the other posts, I doubt, if she finally ships it to me, it will be original. Which is upsetting because that's one of my dream bags. It teaches me a lesson, always confirm with you guys, learned the hard way.

I love that style. The one I had, had the best leather ever. I hope you get it and it is just as described.

Thanks whateve, I hope so too, but somethings fishy with how attentive she was in responding before I bought the bag vs. after. Also how after 5 days the label was printed but it has still not been shipped. >:\

It seems ok. The biggest problem with all those Liquid Gloss styles is that almost every seller describes that fabric as "Patent LEATHER" when Coach only called it "Patent", and their company website clearly said that fabric was "coated fabric", NOT real leather, patent or otherwise. So if the listing describes it as leather, it's not.

ETA - Here's an old Nordie's page where they correctly describe Liquid Gloss as "patent fabric".
