Hello! Long-time lurker, first-time poster. Thanks in advance for any help!

Item: Coach Weston Shopper Dowels Tote 9021 Black Leather vintage
Listing number: 263389723517
Seller: roseriver1964
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Weston-Shopper-Dowels-Tote-9021-Black-Leather-vintage/263389723517?
Comments: (In my inexpert opinion) I think the creed looks good but am concerned about the uncovered dowel.

Welcome! It looks good to me too. Sometimes the leather covering falls off the dowels. On a fake, it is more likely to be painted. I believe someone re-covered dowels in the Rehab club but I can't remember how difficult or successful it was. https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/coach-rehab-and-rescue-club.833400/
I don't see a problem with that bag either but a few days ago, I reported this fake from roseriver1964. (CLearly, she doesn't authenticate her items before listing.)

This is the fake she had. Not only is it bad for a Willis but the style number on the fake was 9983:

Hi there,
I've been wanting a rogue for a while, but being on a budget it's kind of hard. I bought a Brooklyn 28, but I heard through the forum the Brooklyn 34 is heavy and doesn't have a slouchy feel like the rogue so I returned it. Can you please authenticate this bag please?

the seller sent me a picture of the tag, but I'm not sure how to enlarge it. The white tag says No. G16380
54536.

Hi there,

I bid and won while waiting for authentication for the rogue 25. Does this mean it can't be authenticated anymore since the auction is over?
I really need to see the white tag and the made in tag. I can't get the pictures in the listing to enlarge and can't see enough detail in the listing.

BTW, I hope you copied the first part of the white tag incorrectly. There are too many digits after the G.

BeenBurned, I appreciate your expertise, I hope this what you need.

No, she needs the white tag that has the creed number on it. This creed is one of those that doesn't show the real number. The real number is on a small tag hidden inside the pocket. There should also be another tag, probably sewn into a seam, that shows where it was made.

ETA: that's the right number tag. There should be another with the place of manufacture.

Thanks whateve, the seller sent a picture of the small white tag (see #26434). I'm sorry, I didn't know there was another tag which I'll have to get from the seller. The seller is also awaiting the money before sending the bag, should I say I'm awaiting authentication?

The seller sent me the final piece of the puzzle that you need. Thanks again!
The bag is fine.

The 1941 collection bags (among others) are very "well faked" and the right pictures are crucial to accurate authentications.

Enjoy your bag!

Hi all! Happy Holidays! I was wondering if I could get your opinion on the possible age and authenticity of this bag? I have been watching it for awhile and really like it. https://poshmark.com/listing/Coach-rare-vintage-laptop-bag-594804ca680278733000c765 I see it has what I think is a paperclip pull and numberless creed. (I hope the link works, very new to this forum) Thanks!!!
Welcome! In the future, read the first post to see the correct format for authentication requests. The bag in the listing is authentic. It is missing the leather part of the zipper pull. It's a #9425 handle clutch, also later called a slim satchel compact. It was made in the mid 70s.
