She has so many fakes you have to wonder where she finds them.
I have no idea where someone would get this many fakes. I also can't imagine after the amount of time she's been handling and selling that she can't recognize the issues in the fakes vs. those that haven't been removed. In fact, my own opinion stands that she posts clear pictures of important details if she thinks or knows a bag is authentic but posts blurry or no pictures of creeds on those she doesn't know.

But I do know she's been told many times, either in ebay takedown messages, ebay's message prohibiting her from selling Coach, another Bonz account that was previously used but no longer active and through etsy messages from members.

Dear Folks,

Still very new to TPF, I'm enjoying the knowledge, humor, and beautiful photos here!

I stumbled across a posting on my local Craigslist for what seems to be a genuine Legacy shoulder bag from 2006. They are asking $45 for it. If she is for real, I would love to give her a new home!

May I ask for some authentication help? I have no clue what's the best way to post photos here, so let me know if I can do better!

Please and thank you!

*sigh* This is debbieb208 who is no longer allowed to list Coach on ebay so she sells on Etsy as GutsyGirls. (This was another ebay ID: gutsygirldebb-1 but it's NARU.)

However today, on Bonanza I recognized a listing style that I recognized. Her description wording is very distinct and after seeing the seller ID, I knew why it sounded familiar.

I'm pretty sure this is fake but would like confirmation. The bag has a US plant code that I don't believe was in operation in 2003.
Bonanza listing title: Coach Bag~ Bonnie Cashin Bag~Coach Cross Body ~Taft Bag~ Shopper~ Book Bag~ Orga
Seller - bonzuser_rxchc aka Gutsy Girls Inc
https://www.bonanza.com/listings/Co...Body-Taft-Bag-Shopper-Book-Bag-Orga/519688883

She seems to continue to have blurry and illegible creeds on questionable items or those she doesn't know of authenticity but clear creeds on good ones:
https://www.bonanza.com/listings/Co...Condition-British-Tan-with-Hang-tag/519688880

BTW, the reason I'm posting this repeat offender is because Bonanza is very good about removing fakes (if deemed as such) as opposed to Etsy, another site on which I've never been successful in getting action on reports.

First, calling the Taft a "Cashin Bag" is complete BS and I'll bet she knows it. That style wasn't even introduced until 21 YEARS after Cashin and Coach parted company. But we established long ago that she ignores inconvenient facts whenever it suits her, so on to the second point.

Second, the F plant code has never been found in a provably genuine bag made after 1995. I've seen F plant codes with other fonts in bags with dates from 1994 thru 1998 but the bags have all been fake. The original F plant serial stamp had several unique details in the font and can be spotted a mile away.

Third, the serial stamp font is apparently identical to a fake F plant stamp in my files with an older dated prefix that's in a provably fake 9930 Murphy Bag. The inside pocket zipper is installed very badly, and the 2003 year code from a US plant is highly suspect - only a tiny handful of classic leather bags were still being made in the US and Coach would NEVER have re-activated a long-dead plant code just for a few bags when the Costa Rica P plant, as well as the Dominican Republic AND the USA "B" plants were still open and running and making Tafts. There also seems to be an issue with the top zipper but I'd need clearer pictures to be sure.

The seller's photos, as they always are when we've found her selling fake or questionable bags, are missing key elements that we need to put the final nail in the seller's coffin, although like Dracula, she keeps rising from the dead and scamming gullible buyers with falsehoods and lousy incomplete photos.

The second listing BeenBurned mentioned is a good example. The proportions between the main part of the bag and the front pocket don't look right - the edges of the front pocket on genuine ones are almost even with the edges of the main compartment - but the creed and serial are (deliberately?) blurry and unreadable although the spacing in the serial number don't seem right either, and the Coach logo on the hangtag is seriously off-center. Based only on the size of the front pocket compared to the size of the main part of the bag, I believe the "Station Bag" at Bonz is fake. And even with the bad photos it doesn't look like the bag has a center seam on the bottom panel, which genuine Station Bags DO have..

ETA - Just noticed - the seller is either showing 2 different bags or has swapped hangtags. The one with the uneven stamp that's attached to the top handle mount is NOT the same as the other one in the second photo that's attached to the D-ring for the strap. And there's a BIG difference between the front pocket vs. main bag proportions between the first and fourth photos.

Hmm, your photos were there a moment ago, and went poof! when I refreshed the page. From what I remember of the pictures, it looked authentic. Make sure you check the brass for verdigris. Some bags from this line had a problem with it.

Thank you. She's something else, huh?

ETA: The following shows the differences in the (at least) 2 different bags shown in the same listing:

Yep, even the colors are different.

She's definitely "something else" but we're probably not allowed to say WHAT else in a public forum. What we CAN say is that we don't recommend buying from that seller GUTSY GIRLS aka GUTSYGIRLS under ANY circumstances.

I found this bag this weekend. It measures about 8 x 9. It closes with a magnet, has a back pocket, under flap pocket and inside zip pocket. The strap drop is about 19-20 inches. Is it authentic? I've never seen one like this before. Thank you.IMG_8759.JPG image.jpg IMG_8761.JPG IMG_8762.JPG IMG_8763.JPG
