I bought a dark red Coach bag at a yard sale for $5. What little I know about Coach's markings - leather tag stitched inside with description and serial number, has a Coach leather tag on a chain, silver grommet with Coach inscribed, very tight stitches and looks to have held up well despite long usage and no leather cleaning and conditioning.

Bag No. G0782-F11347
Burgundy bag with Dark Brown leather buckled straps. 2 side pockets with metal grommets.
Leather is soft and supple

Do either of you know where I can find the value and the age of this bag?
It was made in 2007 for factory stores. Whatever the original price said on the price tag, it probably sold for a discount of at least 50%. The value is subjective and based on what someone is willing to pay for it. You can search ebay sold listings for the style number #11347. Here's two recent sales: https://www.ebay.com/sch/Handbags-P...=R40&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1&_nkw=coach+11347

Thank you for your help. One more question - what is a factory store?

Could I just add a quick correction? Sometimes Real Life can distract us or make us hit the wrong key. The bag was actually made in 2007.

Carrie Bell, the Factory Stores are the Coach Factory Outlet stores that you find in many outlet malls if you live in the US. Items made especially for the outlets will usually have serial numbers where the second set of digits, in this case F11347, begin with the letter "F" for "Factory". Made-for-Factory-Stores items are often abbreviated as "MFF".

Comments: I tried Googling the style name but couldn't come up with one. If it is authentic, what is the name? Thank you in advance!
