Consider it verified.
Thank you. That's what I thought. I had contacted the seller some time last week that it was not authentic with the link to the guide to fake serial numbers. Seller replied claiming it was authenticated and it is not fake. I didn't bother asking who authenticated as she didn't believe me in the first place and made no further contact.

"Hi there! Thanks for your message. I do know that most of the newer j8h tags are not real however this is an actual vintage bag that I had authenticated. If you see one of the newer coaches with a j8h tag then it’s definitely counterfeit but not the vintage ones. Thank you again."

Maybe she'll believe you now that the listing has been removed. (I'd love to know who authenticated it.)

Would someone please have a look at this one:

Comment: not sure about the shape of the padding above the turnlock

Thanks!
I think it's okay but please wait for @Hyacinth and @whateve to confirm.

There's a definite difference in the padding above the turnlock, something seen so often on fakes though I don't believe this is one of them. (I'd love to see the back of the female part of the closure.)

Just for comparison, I did a couple of side-by-sides, if for no other reasons than more pics to add to our records:Screen Shot 2017-10-25 at 11.22.36 AM.png Screen Shot 2017-10-25 at 11.24.56 AM.png

I think it is probably good. The creed matches others in my files.

Hello. It's my first time posting here. I've only recently learned a love of purses and have been drawn to some vintage finds. I found this at a local thrift store, but I've never had Coach before, so don't know if it's authentic.

I'm trying to figure out how to upload my photos (they are too big). Supposedly, they are all at this link: https://photos.app.goo.gl/ual4NkGwlq4aFNW42

If my link doesn't work, please let me know and I'll work on reducing file sizes so I can upload them tomorrow.

Thanks y'all.

Good morning! Please let me know what you think of this sweet one.

item: Vintage Coach Courier Bag

Thank you "beenburned". Hope it's ok to ask a couple questions here for any of the authenticators. The seller mentioned it is from the 70's. Just wondering if anyone is able to tell me a little about it. I was curious if it is a Bonnie Cashin handbag. I thought I read somewhere if there is a serial number, then it isn't. If not, it is still a beautiful vintage bag. (I apologize if this next question should be in another thread.) Also wondering if this is a bag that would be safe to restore, meaning a bath and conditioning. Are there times, depending on the patina that it would be best to not soak and condition a vintage bag? I've ordered Leather CPR and Blackrock, but not sure about using these products, especially on a lighter colored bag like this. Thank you, as I so appreciate your opinions!

So I went back to the store and let them know it was not an authentic bag. The girl there would only offer me store credit and she couldn't have cared less that it was inauthentic. Apparently they don't verify authenticity and they price things based on condition, not brand...even though the label said coach clear as day. I'm looking on ebay and found another weston, would you lovely authenticators please verify? I am having a hard time with the serial number...and I'm wondering why they didn't just take the pocket out to get a clearer picture of it hmm

You did great! It's authentic. It looks like a Logan bag from around 1993.
