I found this link: https://www.shopthereserve.com/listing/550813868/vintage-coach-bag-coach-court-bag-black
I don't believe it is authentic. I don't believe there ever was an R plant operating in the US. That pebbled texture is odd. There are probably other things wrong that aren't shown in the pictures.

Comments: Had no intentions of buying, but noticed the serial number is NT4903. I've never reported anyone to Ebay and was wondering how to go about doing this. There's 9 bids already!
You should post this in the Hall of Shame: https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/coach-hall-of-shame-post-coach-fakes-here.824098/
To report, scroll down on the listing to just above the description box. On the right, there is a "report item" link. Click on that and choose the correct items in the drop down menus. For a description, write something like 'NT4903 is always fake. Invalid number format.' If you had more room, you could mention that it doesn't have the correct hardware, the strap attachments are riveted rather than sewn, and the leather looks like elephant skin, indicating very poor quality.

I posted it to the Hall of Shame and reported it to Ebay.

Ugh, I totally got duped. I am a Coach Newbie and had no idea. Thought Etsy was a trusted place to purchase these things. Writing the seller now. Hope I get a refund. Thank you for your help whatev!

They're also selling a vintage Chanel which has 61 bids :eek:hope that's real!
I don't know anything about Chanel but I don't think there are enough pictures to authenticate. I believe there should be a serial number. However, that zipper pull looks pretty bad. I would be surprised they would have used a painted metal zipper pull rather than something custom.

You're welcome. I'm sorry this happened to you. Do you have the bag in hand? If you need more proof, I might be able to help with more pictures, such as the back of the female part of the turnlock, and the front panel under the flap.

Okay there is more proof in your third picture. First, the back of the female part of the turnlock should be smooth. On yours the metal dents in where the parts are folded over. This is not the hardware Coach used. We see this on many fakes. Second, Coach changed the styling of the court bag around 1999. Yours has the styling of a post-1999 bag but the creed indicates it was made 1996. See in my picture, the binding along the top edge under the flap goes straight across and continues onto the sides. That is what a 1996 court should look like. On yours, the binding curves down the sides of the front.

Please help authenticate this COACH! I purchased this "coach" bag from Marshalls awhile back and it has been UNUSED, still with tags (yellow final clearance- made up tag by Marshalls and tag from COACH is torn but was located in the inside pocket), and kept in my clean, dry closet. As I was cleaning out my closet, I found the "leather" on my "coach" bag was damaged! In seeing how the "leather" looks underneath, it does not look leather at all! Now I am thinking it's NOT leather or a coach. I have other coach bags which have endured a lot of use and are still in tact. After much "googling" I checked for what to look for in a fake, am somewhat overwhelmed and was hoping someone on this site could help give their opinion. I have emailed coach counterfeit to ask for assistance but have yet to hear a response. PLEASE let me know your thoughts and what you think I can do! Since I purchased the bag long ago and have moved since the purchase, I have NO idea where the receipt is. I could look back into my credit card charges but with Marshall's shady return policy and the damage now on the bag that I HAVE NEVER USED, I am in a dilemma. I really think it's fake and the bag was sold to me for $350!!!! GRRR. I have attached some photos of the bag so that you can hopefully see what I see.
SIZE: 14" W and 13"L. I googled the Number located on the creed tag but the bag that came up is NOT the bag I have. I believe the style is most like Felicia. The front "leather" C's do not line up in the middle. There is no YKK on the zipper. COACH is stamped on the hardware (which I saw in my research may be fake), the inside fabric feels a little "cheap" and it has the coach label throughout (which I haven't seen before). THANK YOU in advance for your response!

I'm sorry, it is absolutely fake. There are a zillion things wrong with it. It is possible that someone returned it to Marshalls, switching tags, and the salespeople there had no clue.

ETA: If too much time has passed, I don't know what you can do. Credit card companies have time limits for disputing charges.
