Item: Black vintage bag, circa 1980s(?), Made in USA
Seller: Goodwill, $5
Dimensions: 7.5" tall, 11" wide, and 3" deep
Comments: When I first saw this bag at GW my immediate thought was "City Bag! but I quickly dismissed that idea. The turnlock is positioned too low on the front of the bag, it has a 0.5" wide detachable dogleash strap, and there is no slip pocket on the back of the bag.

So then I thought of the Penny bag, but again - no rear slip pocket. I also considered a Companion bag, but there is a single slip pocket under the flap instead of a double - so it's not a Companion bag.

I'm stymied but I figured for $5, why not take a chance?!

Please give an opinion about authenticity; and if it is authentic, any information you have on the style name and number, and the approximate date of manufacture would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Sorry, it's fake. You should have checked with us first.

I swear I thought I checked before buying as I check all my bags w you but I looked back and I hadn't on this one. She's a reputable seller on Poshmark so I'm giving her the opportunity to take it back if not I can open a dispute with my c/c company. I'm sure she doesn't want to get flagged on Poshmark for selling counterfeit handbags. Thanks ladies.

You're welcome. All bags with a J8Y prefix are fake. Good luck!

Hi Ladies,

Thank you for verifying all my previous Coach Willis purchases. I picked this Coach Black Willis up on Poshmark from seller Andine, can you please verify authenticity?

I hope andine does the right thing.

Well, I did it again. I put in a last minute bid on impulse and won - even though I keep promising myself not to buy any more bags - but it was something really special (at least I hope so!)

Item: Copley (or Kelly?) bag, #4414, Made in Italy in 1996, with matching wallet
Listing number: 44161390
Seller: Shopgoodwill.com

Comments: I haven't paid for it yet, please take a look and give an opinion about authenticity, thank you.

If it is authentic, and if you know anything about the bag - like the name of the yellow color or the style number for the wallet - the information would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Gee, something just occurred to me, I hope that they really did make this bag in light yellow? I have never seen any of the Made in Italy bags in yellow. I really hope that it isn't just discoloration from nicotine, or age, or both!
