Something that will make you go hmmmmm....... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Black...548156?hash=item33d6f27d7c:g:cdkAAOSwfaZZuZBZ

Never saw anything like this from Coach until this season, then this pops up on eBay......a counterfeiter ahead of their time?

That may actually be genuine. I remember that several years ago (5 years?) they had a line of coach bags with a rather useless little snap pouch incorporated into the strap (or attached to the front of the bag?) or something like that - and this thing kind of reminds me of that piece.

Wasn't there an older tote that came with something like that attached to the front handles? I think it was called a charm tote
That's what it is. It's the coin purse that hangs on the front of 14841, Op art charm tote:

Oh, good to know. On one hand the little pouch looked like it might have been real, but the chain and spring gate ring threw me off because I've not seen Coach use much spring gate rings until recently.....and the hardware looked a little cheap. No worries. I didn't report them. I let ya'll handle the leather goods, I stick to my fobs and keychains.

Those totes keep popping up in my ebay suggestions I guess because of watching other totes I didn't know if it was authentic but it looked like what was on the front of those. And no I am not selling any of those kinds of things.

I bought this Rogue tote on Mercari and am truly disappointed in the condition of the bag...the seller described the bag as being in excellent condition but it's covered in scratches...also the seller shoved the bag into a small box so the tote is wrinkled.... I'll definitely be returning but I'm curious whether or not the bag is even authentic.

Seller Stephanie Lee

I believe that the bag is authentic and see nothing to indicate otherwise, however the pictures in the listing appear to either have been taken prior to use or are designed to hide the scratches. While scratches are a normal occurrence, they should have been described and shown!

As for the bag being shoved into too small a box, that's another story and as a handbag seller, Stephanie Lee will have unhappy buyers if it continues.

I just finished watching my recording of Robin Hood last night. Errol Flynn can get it! I knew I liked you, Hy! I'm a TCM junkie myself.
I have a bag that I need looked at, as well. It is in my possession, so no link.
Measurements: 8.25 W, 8 H, 4.75 D. Handle drop around 5.
I've looked online, and think it could be related to the Safari line of pre-creed (if authentic) but that's a guess.

wow! This is gorgeous! I believe it was called a small shopping bag. It's probably from the late 60s.

Also a TCM junkie here. DH and I watch a movie every night, usually something from the 30s or 40s if we have one recorded.

ETA: please post these pictures in our reference library: https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/post-your-vintage-classic-pieces-here.292004/

It's probably fine. I wish it had a clearer creed picture. Looks beautiful!
Thank you so much, Whateve! Here's a better picture. I've been wanting the Avenue for a long time (even though I shouldn't have!)... I think it's so much classier than its descendant, the Court Bag. Anyway, just couldn't pass this opportunity; it's in excellent condition and will20170919_151055.jpg only need to be washed and treated.

Hello all & happy Fall,
I have 2 bags in very good condition that I purchased years ago on eBay. Dug them out and want to be sure they're authentic. I put notes inside once I've asked on PF. First up may be an early Stewardess. Strap drop is only 16", if it was shorted, professional job as ends are well finished. Name & approximate year? Gorgeous bag
