Then attach any photos (all authentication must include photos.)

    • Since mid-2014, Coach stopped putting serial numbers on creeds so in newer bags where the creeds don't have serial numbers, we also need to see pictures of the labels/tags from inside the bag. They are either both in the main open part sewn into the seam of the lining, or one might be buried deep inside the zipper pocket. One shows where made and the other has a serial number.

Please Authenticate this item for me:
Item: Coach Mercer 30 Satchel
Listing Number: 142456715517
Seller: e!claire

I hope I did this right. It is my first time posting so please forgive me if I did this wrong:smile:
Welcome! You did great for the first time!

The seller needs to show a couple more pictures. There should be a made in tag sewn into a seam in the main compartment of the bag and a white label with production information also inside the bag, usually buried deep inside the zipper pocket.

Thank you so much for responding to my post. If the seller provides pictures of the labels is it safe to assume it is authentic or should I post another link here just to make sure? Thanks again.
No, you can't assume. We need to see those labels.

Keep in mind that the counterfeiters can and will copy anything if they think it's good enough to convince buyers that an item has the details it's supposed to have.

If someone could please authenticate this coach bag for me I would really appreciate it! Thank you in advance for your time. Note: I submitted information on a handbag this morning that I wanted authenticated but have not heard back from seller as I was advised by BeenBurned to get more pictures of the item in question. In the meantime I am also interested in getting this bag authenticated if possible. Thanks.

This one is authentic. And the listing shows the pictures that the other listing was lacking.

I hope it's okay if I do a few in a row. I'm on a spree!

Item: Willis G5C-9927 (United States)
Seller: mrjaye1

Comments: The whole creed has a shallow imprint, and the "Coach" stamp barely even shows up in the photo. Wondered if that might be cause for concern. Maybe I'm being neurotic, but I get the impression there are a lot of fake Willis bags out there. And if anyone happens to know the year, I always love to know that. Thanks!

Comment: The irregular lines above and below the numbers--normal? I have heard different things about the lines. Not sure what to think. (Photo quality was my best effort--sorry!)

Please post the seller names and links to the listings on Poshmark. (The information is in each listings.

The Poshmark listing for the 9076 Companion (not Legacy) Flap is genuine, as long as you get the same bag that's in the photos.

Those lines are called "overstamping" here, and they're not a problem as long as they're exactly the size and shape they're supposed to be. Let us make that determination, since those lines HAVE been faked.

The Willis is genuine, from 1995.
