I have reservations about this one. It is very close, but the colors are off and there are other problems. It looks like it is trying to copy this 92160. More opinions are welcome.

I'm considering purchasing a Coach vintage bag. This one's very beautiful and in great condition, maybe too good? Because of that and the 8-digit serial number with the "irregular" inscription, I'm concerned about its authenticity. The seller suggested posting it here for your expert advice. What do you think?

Almost correct. Coach didn't make keychains with a single flat (2D) enameled handbag charm until recently and still there weren't many styles.

Prior to introduction of style 66661, the flat (2D) handbag charms were only on multi-charm key rings and lanyards. Single handbag fobs were 3-dimensional charms.

This is an example of a newer flat handbag fob but AFAIK, it's the only flat enameled single purse fob.

I have a disturbing memory of a case posted on AT Coach in March, 2014 in which a fake bag was authenticated by *****************. After the bag was deemed fake, a representative of AF came to the forum and denied having authenticated the bag. It's bad enough to make a mistake in an authentication but to accuse the seller of falsifying a document was too much.

Thanks! It still needs some TLC - the lining is not as great as described, but I think at this price I can overlook the flaws.

I love that bag and would have bought it but for what looked like a fold in the leather on the front. How did you get rid of that? Your "after" photo looks great. I am never all that worried about the look of linings, as long as they are clean.

That style was faked a lot, but the one you posted looks good. Style 92006.

I love that bag and would have bought it but for what looked like a fold in the leather on the front. How did you get rid of that? Your "after" photo looks great. I am never all that worried about the look of linings, as long as they are clean.

I wish I could say that I did some magic, but there wasn't really much of a fold. The bag was probably stored flat for a while before that picture for EBay was taken, and it came squished in a box, but then I quickly went over the insides with a steamer (I am paranoid about bedbugs), stuffed it with papers and this is what it looked like in the morning, still stuffed. I guess it's a testament to the quality of Coach leather, that it sprung right back to its form.

Anyone have experience with Coach belts? I found this at goodwill today for $9.99 and it looks brand new. But, when I was taking pics just now I noticed the creed mentions jacquard and there's isn't any on this belt.
