I can't find the style number of the french purse but the checkbook is 6562, the accordian ziparound wallet 6563 and there was a coordinating picture frame keychain, style 1716:

ETA: Found it. From Feb/March, 2005. It's style 8645.

LEGACY NOVELTY COMPACT CLUTCH $188

Genuie. I don't know the exact name but the line was called Legacy Novelty, and the style looks like a French Purse from the early 2000s. If I find the exact name, I'll post it.

ETA - It's probably a Legacy Novelty or Perforated Compact Clutch, style 8645 from around 2004. This is the closest one I could find:

And thank you both. I've got 48 different Coach items to identify and describe, not counting everything else. I've been doing fairly well, but some of these are tricky.

Just post anything here that you're not sure about and we'll do our best. There's such a huge number of fake Coaches in circulation that it's always better to be safe than sorry. And you can NEVER depend on those dime-a-dozen online "authenticity guides" that make false and ridiculous claims like "YKK zippers prove a Coach is genuine". Please don't ever use those as references, there's NEVER just one or two details that prove a Coach is authentic. The only things that prove a Coach's authenticity is that all of the details are exactly what they should be for that style, time period, and production information stamped or indicated in the serial number.

Can anyone authenticate this Coach wallet? The ugly silver key holder is throwing me off along with the circle adjacent to the Made in China embossing. Possibly a Factory Store item or maybe just a counterfeit item? Not really sure.

The stamped bullseye indicates a Factory Store item. Those are often impossible to identify because Coach makes a flood of smaller accessories priced for gifting for every major holiday, and there are no records or photos available most of the time. The key holder is the same type Coach used on many of their early keyring accessories but this one was made more recently, my guess would be late 1990s to mid-2000s especially since it has silver hardware which Coach didn't start using on bags or accessories until the late 1990s. But that's just a guess.

BTW, when something's fake we'll say so right up front. When we post Coach's name or date, that means it's genuine. Fake "Coaches" don't get or deserve names.

Yep, I had to dig through about a dozen catalogs and then try to find a photo with a pic of the inside details in my files. Your way was probably a lot more efficient! ;)
LOL! I had a lot of catalogs though most were from 2000-ish and on. I found that I never looked at them because it was too much trouble to dig through.

So I packed them up and sent them to Whateve and now she digs through!

Thank you so much. It is greatly appreciated. Most of the items I've been looking at are easy to find since they are more recent purses or new with tags. But some of these guys have been a challenge.

I don't know the style number of that one or the style name but the item is called a multi-function purse. (It might have been an embossed soho multi-function purse.)

This is a similar item from the same timeframe in Legacy with the same key clip and lining:Screen Shot 2017-06-07 at 10.48.46 AM.png

It's good exercise too. Mine are in a canvas bag - those things are HEAVY! Just picking the bag up is a workout.

Re those "authenticity " guides and YKK zippers, I have a pair of inexpensive jeans with a YKK zipper. Maybe they were made by Coach? Ha ha.

Or maybe Loius Vuitton, since I think they also use YKK. As does just about every major manufacturer in the world. That's what's so ridiculous about someone posting that kind of fake information - ANYBODY can buy YKK zippers, including fakes makers. And like the Salearea Guides say, if the crooks don't want to spend the extra money for genuine YKK, they can buy fake ones to go with their fake handbags.

What really P's me off about those cwap "guides" is not only do Nitwits B,C,D,E. and all the others just Copy & Paste Nitwit A's incorrect guide, but the lazy SOBs can't even be bothered to do ANY actual research or apply the tiniest bit of common sense to those claims they're so blithely copying and posting all over the internet. The possibility of fakes makers actually using zippers stamped YKK, real OR fake, in fake bags never seems to have occured to any of them. Not an ounce of common sense among the lot of them, and too stupid or too gullible or too lazy to actually go to dependable, factual sources to find out the truth.
