Good morning Ladies. Please give me your expert opinion(s) on this bag I just received for rehab. It looked OK on the listing, but IRL I have some concerns. The female brass closure definitely has grooves, and the inside bottom is weird..like there was once a piece of leather covering, but now there appears to be a glue? residue. I don't remember the Stewardess having an extra piece on the bottom. I realize this is not Vintage by any means(if storyboard is authentic) so things may have changed. I'm sending a few of my own photos as well as the link for the bag. Thank you for your help!

There are a few other problems too. The grommets on the strap are silver-colored instead of brass - the color should match the buckles. And the serial number font isn't right for a bag from that month and plant, the G9D- prefix numbers should look like the one in the picture below. The creed also looks like it's stamped too low on the inside pocket. Look at the second photo, same plant, month and year code - see how the stamp is positioned on the pocket?

Wait for WHATEVE to take a look too, she owns that style and is more familiar with most of the details than I.
