Could you please have a look at this bag that I won on ebay - the creed was (I think) waterlogged at some point and one side of it is very faint as a result. I took the best pictures I could manage of it, although they are still somewhat vague. The white-ish stuff is eyeshadow hoping to get a better contrast. I would greatly appreciate your expert eyes before I give this bag a bath etc. Thank you!

I can send/take more pics as needed. Thank you again!photo (1).JPG photo 1.JPG

I think I originally posted this in the wrong place. I wanted to thank you for the warm welcome and hope you can help me with this Coach Op Art Pet Carrier, is it authentic?
It looks good! Congrats because pet carriers are highly faked.
That is what I am finding out. I didn't know that before I got this one and then I started seeing that they are highly faked. I was pretty sure by the quality of everything, but I have been burned in the past so I wanted to make sure:-) Thank you!

Genuine, probably from the early 1990s, style number 9525.

I bought a pretty distressed British tan City bag that cleaned up resulting in a patina /look I really like. And now I find all kinds of distressed Brits catching my eye. And then when I click on this Creed, ugh, the uninspired fake registration number. Did I see a post here correctly that when I see this number, I can just report and do I cite the daria48 or salearea guide right on eBay?

Yes, you can cite the guide, I do. I put something like "invalid serial number" as appropriate.

Good evening! I recently acquired some vintage (mostly) bags, and a few I've had for a while a couple years but did not authenticate. I "think" they are all okay but would love to have your valued opinions.
THanks so much!
