BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item

  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Ugh, I missed out on the blue Willis you guys kindly authenticated for me because I was giving an exam and answering student questions at the time of the auction end - of course I was waiting to bid at the very end. Someone got a good deal! I hope it was someone here. How dare my students expect me to answer questions! ;-) Anyway, i'm itching to expand my Willis collection and also to get a better eye for real vs fake. How are these?

DIDJA MISS ME??
I have to admit I was very thrown off when the forum got it's update and I got kind of lost in the new system.
I had a hard time navigating it and lost my patience so I was not enjoying reading and following the posts.
Recently checked back and it seems that whatever glitches there were have been nicely worked out
and it's very user friendly again!
I am not tech savvy at all, so forgive my lack of patience.
Hope to be back and more active now with my "big mouth" lol!!

Somehow I skipped those two! They are authentic too. Do you realize you posted two #5s? I don't know which one I said was authentic already but they both are.
Yes, I missed you! Welcome back! One thing I like about the new forum is that I can "watch" threads, and then when I log on, I click on the "watched threads" link at the top of the page, and it shows me everything I need to read. I think you are automatically enrolled in watching a thread once you post in it.

#1 is fine. It isn't vintage, being made in 2005, which is why the creed looks different. #2 and #3 look good. I think #4 is probably okay. I can't really read the creed picture.

1- genuine but NOT vintage, made in China in 2005
2- genuine
3- genuine, but as you said, the seller mixes real and fakes and is NOT recommended
4- I'm not seeing a readable creed photo

ETA - Sorry for the repeat, blasted Refresh has a mind of its own.

Hello Ladies,
Last night I had a few items authenticated and Beenburned was nice enough to authenticate them. Unfortunately I forgot to ask/comment about the creed on item 3. Can someone please assist me by looking at the item, which is Sonoma bag with a non-Sonoma creed?

That's the year Sonomas were discontinued, and it's likely that the Sonoma-specific creed stamps, the few that existed, had already been retired, returned to New York, or destroyed. There's no problem with the bag that I can see.
